The Market Online speaks with Globex Mining Enterprises, President & CEO Jack Stoch, as Ironwood Drilling Upgrades Gold Resource to Indicated from Inferred.
Transcript
00:00Welcome to The Watchlist, where we sit with a wide scope of executives to break through
00:10the noise and get to the core of their company news and projects. I'm Lindsay Melchick and today
00:15we are learning about Globex Mining Enterprises, where their ironwood gold deposit drilling
00:20results have upgraded their gold resources from inferred to indicated. Here with us is
00:25President and CEO of Globex Mining, Jack Stock. Welcome, Jack. It's nice to see you.
00:31Thank you. Pleasure to be here.
00:33Now, you've just completed an NI43-101 technical report on your 100% owned ironwood gold deposit.
00:40Why don't you give us just some of the details on that work that was done and really what the
00:44highlights are? Okay, sure. Well, the project is an offshoot of the Cadillac break near Cadillac,
00:53Quebec. There's been 105 drill holes completed on the property for over 31,000 meters. And the zone
01:01has now been followed from sub outcrop down to about 225 meters. So it's relatively shallow.
01:09We just completed in 2024, 19 drill holes, because what we're trying to do is establish the outside
01:16boundaries of the deposit. It looks like it may continue to depth, but we're just dealing now
01:22with the first 225 meters. We've done the metallurgical test work. Recovery is well over
01:2790%. We've done 3D modeling, geology, geophysics, everything. And we've outlined in the first 225
01:37meters about 117,000 ounces, of which, if you're tonnage-wise, is 234,800 tons at an average
01:47grade of 14.38 grams gold. Yeah, I mean, that already is phenomenal news. So, you know, Jack,
01:55what's next? What's the next project or, you know, progress for the project moving forward
02:01that's going to create that value for investors? Yeah, well, we're trying to decide how we want to
02:07go forward. We are on that particular piece of ground. We want either we can look at and mining it
02:14ourselves. We could look at doing a joint venture. We could look at an optioning the property. We could
02:20even look at selling it, but I don't think that's what we're doing. But everything is open. But at the
02:26same time, that property has two other former producers on the property, the wood gold mine and
02:32the central Cadillac gold mine. And we've done modeling. We're going to be doing 3D modeling now.
02:39And we've seen areas where it's open. We can add to the existing historical resources on the property.
02:46And we'll probably be doing a drill hole program on that. So it becomes a question, do we do something
02:51on ironwood separately? Or do we combine it with the results of the work on the, if we get good
02:58results, fingers crossed, on the wood mine and the central Cadillac mine too? Well, there is a lot
03:04going on and all of it sounds exciting. So do come back and give us an update soon.
03:09Be my pleasure. Thank you for your time. Absolutely. Again, that was Jack Stock,
