The Market Online speaks with SuperQ Quantum Computing CEO Dr. Muhammad Khan, as SuperQ Quantum Computing Launches World's First Quantum Super Hub to Widespread Acclaim.
Transcript
00:00Welcome to The Watchlist, I'm Lindsay Melchuk. Today we're zeroing in on a company that just
00:09made quantum history. SuperQ Quantum Computing has launched the world's first quantum super
00:15hub in, of all places, Lethbridge, Alberta. This isn't a pilot, it's a full-scale hybrid
00:22quantum facility built to deliver real-time solutions across AI, defense, biotech and
00:28beyond. Now with me is the visionary behind this breakthrough, Dr. Mohamed Khan, CEO of
00:34SuperQ. Welcome to the show, Dr. Khan. It's a pleasure to sit with you today, absolutely.
00:40Hey, Lindsay, thank you so much for inviting me.
00:43Now, Dr. Khan, with SuperQ launching this quantum super hub, I mean, how do you see the company
00:48shaping the future of quantum computing globally?
00:51Yeah, so this is not an isolated event. You know, we're creating these super hubs all around
01:00the world. The goal is over the next six months to set up 20 of them around the world in Canada,
01:06the US, UAE, India and Europe. And actually, our second super hub is already approved and in the
01:14process of getting launched next month in Dubai. So this is going to be a network of super hubs.
01:20And when you talk about super hubs, think of them as quantum cyber cafes. That's what it is.
01:26You know, and the goal is to democratize and reduce the technical and financial barrier to access
01:33quantum and supercomputing and these hybrid compute technologies that we have available
01:38through our super platform.
01:40That's fascinating and so bold. I mean, what you're doing isn't just technical innovation,
01:45it's structural change. And, you know, I want to dig a little bit deeper here.
01:51SuperQ's hybrid model bridges that classical and the quantum computing in real time. So this is
01:57something that could completely disrupt everything from healthcare to defense. My question, though,
02:03is, I mean, how could this hybrid computing hub revolutionize different industries? And really,
02:09you know, another one, what key milestones should investors be watching for in the back half of the year?
02:14Yeah, that's a that's a great question. So so think of these super hubs as access points to our super
02:22platform. And what super is, it is effectively the chair GPT equivalent of quantum and supercomputing.
02:28The idea is that you that researchers, business people, industry personnel can bring their problems,
02:36their most challenging computational problems to the platform and natural language, you know,
02:41they can they can describe it as if they're talking to chat GPT, you know, and then the platform itself helps them
02:48fine tune the problem, get it to a point where it becomes properly defined, then it models it,
02:54then it figures out how to solve it. Should it be using NVIDIA GPUs? Should it be using quantum annealers from
03:01D-Wave? Should it be using gate based quantum machines or a combination of them? And then it structures a solution
03:07approach and builds that solution approach and executes that solution approach.
03:13Again, that was Dr. Mohamed Khan, CEO of SuperQ Quantum Computing. Flip over to their website and learn more about them at
03:21superq.co. I'm Lindsay Melchick. Thanks for joining us. We'll see you soon.
