Imphal (Manipur), June 8, 2025 (ANI): Manipur’s 25 MLAs meet Governor Ajay Bhalla after violence erupted over Arambai Tenggol’s arrest. A total curfew has been enforced in Bishnupur district to control unrest and prevent escalation of clashes.
00:00You can't come to the room for the room, I'm sorry.
00:04I'm sorry.
00:06I don't know.
00:08I'm sorry.
00:10I'm sorry.
00:12I'm sorry.
00:14I'm sorry.
00:24You can't go.
00:26It is that we are going to get it.
00:41I think this is a good way to go into this area.
00:54With this present scenario in Manipur, where five of our boys who belongs to Aram Baitengol has been arrested, as everyone knows.
01:12And then after that, we have like the entire state has become in a panic mode.
01:17And then in certain locations, there has been burns and blockades, the internet has been shut down, there is curfew in the, I think, in most of the districts in the valley.
01:31So what we have requested in the, we have requested the Honorable Governor is that, first of all, if, see, if the government wants to, you know, arrest anyone at this point of juncture,
01:46you should clarify first that he is going to be arrested for these purposes.
01:52So what the Honorable Governor has clarified to us is that he and the advisor, the security advisor has told us,
02:04is that one person that has been, you know, picked up by the CVI for a personnel case, and four of them is not related to the CVI case,
02:20they are just doing some background research by the local police department, and then if they don't find anything, they will release them.
02:32So I think at this point of juncture, whatever the reason is, whatever the problem is, I think of all our political parties,
02:41what we have suggested is that if there are going to be any arrests, I think the public needs to be clarified first.
02:49How many can you have to have?
02:52I think around 22-23 MLAs belongs to all the parties and, you know, all the different parties.
03:00That exactly, I don't have a count with me now.
03:03We have NPP also was there, I think, and some from our Naga community is also there.
03:12So I think almost all the parties have been representative, mostly them.
03:17You know, from the side corners of the party, you know, this time that the working process has been also been, now,
03:23it has gone beyond their, aspect is beyond their limit now to here also.
03:27You see, at this juncture, you see, running for the power, who do you expect from your party point of view?
03:33See, that's the, that's different other parties' perspective.
03:39So, but at this point of time, I think we should all unite together and then for the betterment of, for our state,
03:45we should all unite together and work together and then, you know, we should work together to bring peace in the state.
