00:00All right, more news coming in. The RCB marketing head, Nikhil Sosaleh has moved Karnataka High Court against his arrest.
00:07Sosaleh had moved Karnataka High Court contending that the manner in which he was arrested was illegal, was arbitrary and violative of his fundamental rights.
00:16I'm going straight across to Sagay for Moss.
00:19Again, the petitioner said the timing of the petitioner's arrest, which is evidently the result of an oral directive of the chief minister to arrest various RCB officials.
00:31Basically, because the chief minister said these people were arrested and this is arbitrary is what he's saying.
00:42Absolutely, he says that his fundamental rights were violated because he was heading towards Mumbai and he was being arrested as a criminal.
00:48And if you notice that immediately after Karnataka, chief minister said that whoever is part of this particular celebration, whoever is the organizer, whoever have part of this lapses outside the Chinas, obviously they should be booked and they should be taken according to the law.
01:05And now Karnataka government has already booked FIR against KSEA, RCB and DNA networks.
01:10They have already arrested people, sorry, staff from DNA networks and KSEA staff are still upholding.
01:18And they have also arrested the manager, Nikhil Sosle, in this particular case.
01:23And he was heading to Mumbai and he has also filed a petition in Karnataka High Court stating that the way he was being arrested is violation of his fundamental rights.
01:33Alright, I'm going to leave it at that for the moment.
01:35Sagay Raj getting us up to speed with those details.
01:37The manner in which I was arrested says the marketing head was illegal and was arbitrary.
