In a tragic turn, RCB’s victory celebration in Bengaluru descended into chaos as a stampede broke out outside Chinnaswamy Stadium on June 3. More than 11 people, including women, lost their lives in the stampede, which sent shockwaves across the nation. PM Modi expressed condolences over the stampede tragedy and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
