Atleast 7 people were killed and several injured in a stampede outside the M. Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru as celebrations turned fatal. Deputy CM DK Shivakumar said that the crowd had become uncontrollable and the authorities had not expected this many number of people would show-up and such a situation would arise.
