00:03Congratulations on your honor tonight.
00:05We're so thankful that you are here.
00:08So you're being honored as a groundbreaker.
00:10To you, when you hear that, what do you think of?
00:13Well, I think it's somebody that kind of wants to pave their own path
00:16and not chase trends and kind of write songs
00:18and tell stories about how they grew up and things they believe.
00:21Absolutely.
00:22And you've certainly done that on your albums.
00:24I have to ask, what do you have ahead musically?
00:27Are you already working on another project?
00:28You know, when things are going well, you're so motivated to write and record.
00:32And so we're always in the studio.
00:33I'm constantly writing.
00:34And we've just got some songs we're going to put out here in the next month or so.
00:38And just continue to play these songs on the road.
00:40It's so fun to have a tour that's going this well
00:41and have songs that are on the charts as well.
00:43Absolutely.
00:44Can you give us a hint of what those songs will sound like?
00:47Well, I'll say we might have some features on there.
00:49That's done well for me in the past.
00:51I love that.
00:52Well, and obviously Ronnie Dunn is going to be presenting to you tonight.
00:55What does that mean to you to have someone like him?
00:57It doesn't get any bigger than Brooks and Dunn.
00:59They were nice enough to let me be a part of the reboot, too.
01:03I got to do She Used to Do Mine, which is one of my favorite Brooks and Dunn songs.
01:06So it's awesome to get any recognition from your peers.
01:08But when it's a legend like Ronnie Dunn, it's pretty special.
