Lewes Mayor in Pells Plunge Fundraiser

Mayor of Lewes Emily Clarke and Chairman of the Pells Pool Community Association Ronald Dam took to the streets of Lewes to help raise funds

00:00Hi, I'm Emily Clark, I'm Mayor of Lewis and this is Ronald Dam, the Chair of the Pell's Pool Community Association.

00:06Pell's Pool are currently raising £12,000 to supply a disabled hoist for the pool to make it disabled accessible for everybody.

00:15So tomorrow, which is Saturday the 31st of May, I will be opening the pool for the season

00:21and I will be pitched into the pool by John Worthwick, our town crier, and swimming a leg to help raise money for the project.

00:29So we're out today getting all of our ducks in a row and hoping that people will donate for the cause. Thank you.
