00:02Jesus Lozardo, one of the best pitchers in baseball this season,

00:05leads in war in baseball for starting pitchers.

00:08He faces Chad Patrick, also a pretty good pitcher, by the way, for the Brewers.

00:12Jose Quintana on Sunday against Ranger Suarez.

00:16I think four pretty decent matchup pitchers this week.

00:20Yeah, Lozardo's been great.

00:22He's been absolutely great.

00:23We were talking earlier on the show trying to figure out where Mackenzie Gore

00:26would go in the Cy Young rankings of the National League.

00:29And I would have Lozardo ahead of him.

00:31He's been – I mean, Lozardo's been really good.

00:33Nice move that's paying off.

00:35The Cubs tried to get him too.

00:37But he ended up going to Philadelphia here.

00:39Quintana will return from the IL tomorrow to pitch for Milwaukee here.

00:43I do not like starting pitchers when they first come off the IL.

00:47He hasn't been out a hell of a long time.

00:49You know, he's been out over a month.

00:50I'm definitely not doing it.

00:51But, you know, he's been out a couple of weeks here.

00:52But also pitching in Philadelphia.

00:55I'll probably stay away from Quintana, though.

00:56So, I'm surprised this guy didn't have a job most of all.

00:59See, it took him a while before somebody signed him.

01:02Once again, I know he's got to be a pitcher.

01:04He's not a thrower anymore.

01:05But he's been really good here.

01:06Ranger Suarez has been, you know, solid for Philadelphia.

01:09No issues with him.

01:11Angels and Guardians also face off this weekend.

01:13Now we're going to get to the fun part of the show where we try and figure out

01:17who the starters are in some of these games.

01:19So, for today, the Angels will start Kyle Hendricks.

01:22His ERA is above five for the year.

01:24Slade Ciccone starts today for the Cleveland Guardians.

01:28He's pitched about a dozen innings this season.

01:31And then on Sunday, we get some other random names here.

01:33Jack Kachatowicz against Gavin Williams here.

01:39I mean, the A's had a lot of fun here for a couple weeks, George.

01:41You know, they're hitting the ball, starting to win some games.

01:43And, of course, things sort of split a little bit.

01:46I mean, look, the Angels definitely can hit the ball.

01:48I mean, O'Hoppy can hit and Ward can hit.

01:51Pitching is still going to be an issue for them.

01:53You've got Mike Trout's back, right?

01:55Zach Nito can hit as well.

01:57But, you know, you're right.

01:57The pitching is not good.

02:00Kachatowicz is blah.

02:02And Kyle Hendricks probably shouldn't be on a major league roster at this point.

02:06Just not as a starter.

02:07Maybe he's a long guy.

02:08Guy's going to eat up some innings here.

02:09Gavin Williams is the guy.

02:10He teases me every year, right?

02:12I always want to believe it.

02:13Cleveland's one of the better pitcher ballparks here.

02:15So, you think he'd be good there in Cleveland?

02:17He's a developed pitching out of nowhere.

02:19But he just can't seem to put it together.

02:21No consistency here.

02:22That being said, it's the Angels.

02:24I'm probably in Cleveland.

02:25I'm probably still willing to give it a shot here.

02:27But I'm that guy who has a tough time.

02:29For whatever reason, I just can't give up on Gavin Williams.
