00:00I don't know, Gemma, what are your thoughts?
00:02I mean, with regards to the two-state solution
00:05that's been discussed for decades now, really,
00:10I think that's off the table almost.
00:13It's almost unfeasible right now.
00:16I can't even see it in the future.
00:19I think what's interesting is that the settlements
00:21are said to have been put in place by Defence Minister Israel Katz
00:25and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.
00:28Now, Smotrich has said that it's his life's mission
00:31to thwart the establishment of a Palestinian state.
00:35So when it's coming from someone who firmly believes
00:38that that's their life's mission,
00:40then you're not going to see any kind of solution.
00:43No-one's going to come to the table.
00:45It's not, you know, this is what we want.
00:47It's going to be about what one person wants.
00:52So there's been a lot of strong language as well.
00:55You know, Israel is using biblical terms for the West Bank.
00:58All over X and over social media.
01:01And Katz has said that the 22 new settlements
01:06are a move that prevents the establishment
01:08of a Palestinian state that would endanger Israel.
01:11So still, this language of aggression,
01:15this language of there's going to be zero talk,
01:19zero conversations.
01:20Yeah, I just, it's, you can't even really see it on the horizon.
01:27And if you, »S?»
