00:00All right, there was a statement by the Chief Investment Officer Ben McMillan.
00:04And right now we want to break down what's happening in the U.S. stock market.
00:07And behind me is Standard & Poor's 500 index stocks categorized by sectors and industries.
00:13And the size represents the market cap.
00:15And there's a mix of green and red over here.
00:18And green means gains and red means losses.
00:21And I'm going to start with NVIDIA.
00:23As Per mentioned earlier, NVIDIA shows a green color.
00:25It was up and increased by 3.25%.
00:29And the stock cap price market right now is 139.19%.
00:34And the latest updates on NVIDIA is NVIDIA bid quarterly sales expectations as customers stockpiled its AI chips before fresh U.S. curves on China exports took effect.
00:45But the same restrictions will slice off $8 billion in sales from the company's current quarter,
00:51forcing the company to offer a forecast below Wall Street estimates on Wednesday.
00:56And shares of the world's most valuable semiconductor firm still rose 5% in extended trading as investors digested news
01:04that the heat in the current fiscal second quarter was not as bad as feared.
01:09And NVIDIA talked up demand for its new black oil chips from customers, including Microsoft.
01:14The stock is relatively flat so far this year, compared with 2024, when the shares nearly tripled in value.
01:21NVIDIA now faces trade restrictions on what it can sell, and the AI data center market is also maturing.
01:27Next is Google.
01:28As you can see, Google shows sort of almost a red color, but it was down by 0.29%.
01:33And the stock price right now is 171.86%.
01:37And the latest update on Google is Germany is considering a 10% tax on large online platforms like Alphabet's Google
01:44and Meta's Facebook, its new Minister of State for Culture's talk magazine Stern,
01:49in a move likely to heighten trade tensions with the Trump administration.
01:53And the proposal comes as Chancellor Frederick Merz is expected to travel to Washington,
01:58soon to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump, although a trip has not yet been officially announced.
02:03And Trump has in the past said he will not allow foreign governments to appropriate America's tax base for their own benefit.
02:11Next one I'm going to show you under the sector or segment of consumer cycle or auto manufacturer,
02:17where Tesla was up by 0.43% and the current stock price is 358.43%.
02:23And the latest update on Tesla, where Elon Musk break with the Trump administration,
02:28means investors will hope he refocuses on his sprawling empire as Tesla battles slumping sales
02:35and after SpaceX's latest rocket launch fell short of expectations.
02:40And Musk called time on his White House stint on Wednesday,
02:43giving Tesla investors some sucker after shares slumped this year,
02:48in part due to the backlash to his support of U.S. President Donald Trump and right-wing parties in Europe.
02:54And the billionaire also spearheaded Trump's so-called Department of Government Efficiency,
02:59charged with cutting federal spending, which generated controversy.
03:03And moving on is we have Amazon.
03:06Amazon right now, let me find Amazon, it will hear.
03:09And it was up by 0.48% and the current stock price is 205.70 green colour,
03:16and where the New York Times is allowing Amazon.com to use its editorial content
03:21for artificial intelligence products such as Alexa,
03:24marking the publisher's first licensing deal tied to generative AI.
03:28And the multi-year agreement lets Amazon use news articles from The Times
03:32and content from NYT cooking and sports website The Athletic.
03:36The publisher said on Thursday without disclosing the financial terms of the deal.
03:40The deal comes as AI companies strive to overcome difficulties in improving their large language models
03:46after exhausting all the easily accessible data in the world.
03:50And many, including ChatGPT owner OpenEye, are also facing losses related to data usage.
03:55Alexa, how many books have I read this year?
