00:00All right, now let's break down what's happening in the U.S. market.
00:03And behind me is the standards and S&P 500 index stocks are categorized by sectors and also industries.
00:10And a size represents market cap.
00:12And we see the mix of both the green and also red.
00:15Red means losses and green means gains.
00:17And I'm only going to touch on a few sectors.
00:20And I'm going to start with NVIDIA, which was upped or increased by 4.04%.
00:25And the current stock price is 170.70.
00:29And the latest update on NVIDIA, where NVIDIA's planned a resumption of sales of its H2O AI chips to China
00:36is part of U.S. negotiations on rare earths, Commerce Secretary Howard Lunik said on Tuesday
00:41and comes days after its CEO met President Donald Trump.
00:45And Lunik told Reuters they put that in the trade deal with the magnets,
00:48referring to an agreement Trump made to restart rare earth shipments to U.S. manufacturers,
00:53but he did not provide additional detail.
00:55NVIDIA said late on Monday that it is filing applications with the U.S. government
01:00to resume sales to China of its H2O graphics processing unit
01:04and has been assured by the U.S. it will get the licenses soon.
01:08And the planned resumption is a reversal of an export restriction imposed in April
01:12that it is designed to keep the most advanced AI chips out of Chinese hands
01:16over national security concerns, an issue that has found rare bipartisan support.
01:22It drew swift questions and criticism from U.S. legislators on Tuesday.
01:26And that is NVIDIA.
01:28Moving on to Google, where Google was up by 0.24% and the current stock price is 182.00.
01:36Meanwhile, Weta was down by 1.46%.
01:39The current stock price is 710.39.
01:42But I'm going to tell the latest update on Google,
01:45where Google has agreed to secure as much as 3 gigawatts of U.S. hydropower
01:50in the world's largest corporate clean power pact for hydroelectricity,
01:55the company said on Tuesday as big tech pursues the expansion of energy hungry data centers.
02:01And the deal between Google and Brookfield Asset Management
02:03includes initial 20-year power purchase agreements,
02:07totaling $3 billion for electricity generated from two hydropower facilities
02:11in Pennsylvania.
02:13And Semaphore reported on Tuesday the tech giant will also invest $25 billion
02:17in data centers across Pennsylvania and neighboring states over the next two years.
02:23And the technology industry is intensifying the hunt for massive amounts
02:27of clean electricity to power data centers needed for artificial intelligence
02:32and cloud computing, which has driven U.S. power consumption to record highs
02:37after nearly two decades of stagnation.
02:39And that's on Google.
02:41Moving on to Tesla.
02:42Tesla is down, unfortunately, by 1.93%, and the current stock price is 310.78.
02:51The red color here shows it was down, but Tesla's top sales executive in North America,
02:57Troy Jones, has left the electric vehicle maker in the latest senior departure at the company,
03:02where the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
03:06The Vice President of Sales, Service and Delivery in North America,
03:10where Tesla's biggest market, Jones, has been with the company for 15 years,
03:15and shares of Tesla fell more than 1% following the report.
03:19The reported exit comes at a time when Tesla is grappling with flagging sales,
03:24as demand in Europe and North America crumble amid Tesla's aging vehicle lineup
03:28and increased competition from rivals offering more affordable alternatives.
03:32Tesla has seen a wave of high-level executive departures since early last year,
03:37including key figures like CEO Elon Musk, Confident, Amit F. Shah,
03:41Chief Battery Engineer Drew Baglino, and Global Public Policy Head Rohan Patel.
03:46And the head of Tesla's Optimus humanoid robot team, Milan Kovac,
03:50announced he was leaving in June, and top battery executive, Vindad Mehta, did so in May.
