00:00We've been all shocked by the terrorist attack, the barbaric act against Indian citizens that have been killed.
00:11And I think there was an immediate and strongest condemnation of this terrorist attack.
00:18And I think the authors, perpetrators of this act must be brought to justice.
00:24And we also stated publicly there was a position of the EU 27 that we recognize as the EU the right of India in such circumstances, of course, to protect its citizens and defend itself.
00:37And we've been welcoming the fact that there is a ceasefire.
00:42And we really hope that this ceasefire will hold, that there will be no further acts that can reignite the violence that we've seen.
00:52But clearly, this is a reminder that we must do our utmost to fight terrorism.
00:59And I'd just like to recall that the EU and India have a cooperation on counterterrorism.
01:05And I think in the weeks and months to come, this will come even more on top of the agenda of our global cooperation.
