A woman who loves McDonald's so much that she has a tattoo of the logo got a Big Mac-sized surprise when her boyfriend proposed at the Golden Arches. Isabella Borgesi's love of all things McDonald's runs deep – from family meals every Thursday as a kid, through getting a job at her local restaurant at 14, becoming a manager at 16, and now being a general manager of a franchise that owns 26 McDonald's across Pennsylvania, with around 70 staff. Isabella, 25, from Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, even has a tattoo of the company's logo on her torso, and hopes that, in the next five to 10 years, she will be an owner-operator herself. With this in mind, her boyfriend, Marco, knew he had to tie the famous brand into his proposal in some way, and so he started working on a plan that would incorporate their local restaurant. Marco has been there through it all, Isabella said, from fry deliveries at 2am to being a sounding board when the ice cream machine breaks down. And so, on April 12, Marco had Isabella believe she was heading out for a family meal in the evening, before which she would stop by the restaurant to check out some new Happy Meal toys. When she arrived at the restaurant, she saw a banner reading "Isabella, Will you marry me?" which was stuck to the window, next to a McDonald's branded gazebo with candles and rose petals surrounding it. The couple then walked over to the shelter, where Marco got down on one knee and asked the big question to a stunned and emotional Isabella.

00:00This is a McMoment she'll never forget.
00:03Isabella's love for McDonald's isn't just about the food.
00:07It's a lifelong passion deeply woven into her life, career, and even her body art.
00:13McDonald's has really been a part of my life since I could recognize brands and things like that.
00:17Grew up across the street from McDonald's.
00:19It was our Thursday night ritual as a family to go there.
00:23We never skipped a McDonald's Thursday night, so that was kind of where my passion and love came from.
00:28That passion led her to her first job at McDonald's the day she turned 14.
00:34Becoming a manager at 16, and now at 25, she's a general manager overseeing 26 locations.
00:42She even has a Golden Arches tattoo.
00:45I worked there all throughout high school.
00:47They gave me money towards my college.
00:49They reimbursed my books.
00:50As I was getting my degree at Temple University, I was still working as a manager there on breaks in summer and things like that.
00:57But as I was in college, I realized that this could really be more for me than just a high school or college part-time job.
01:04Ever since I started working there, it's been like my whole entire thing.
01:08When I go to parties, people are asking me questions like, when are the snack reps coming back?
01:12Through it all, boyfriend Marco has been right beside her.
01:16He grew up going to the same one that I always worked at.
01:19So from the beginning, he was super supportive about it and kind of was laughing about how obsessed I was with it.
01:26Marco saw how much McDonald's meant to Isabella.
01:29He's been there for late-night fry deliveries and even listening patiently when the ice cream machine breaks down.
01:35He knew a regular proposal wouldn't do it, so he cooked up a Big Mac-sized surprise.
01:41On the way to a family dinner, they stopped at the restaurant to check out some Happy Meal toys.
01:47As we're walking, I'm just getting a little bit of a feeling like he's being a little weird.
01:50He changed his sneakers, and he's a big, like, sneakerhead.
01:53So these are, like, the sneakers that he's going to get engaged in, married in.
01:57When they turned the corner, a banner on the window read,
02:00Isabella, will you marry me?
02:03Beside it, a McDonald's-branded gazebo decorated with candles and rose petals.
02:08Oh my god, I'm going to throw up, Marco, I'm going to throw up.
02:29I'm so overwhelming, I'm going to throw up.
02:33Oh my god.
02:34I just really blacked out of the whole situation.
02:45It was the best thing ever.
02:47I so much rather that than be on a beach or something basic and classic like that.
02:52Obviously, those are beautiful proposals, but this was the most me thing ever.
02:57Isabella and Marco are now planning their wedding, which, of course, will include McDonald's-themed fun.
03:05Party of our wedding, whatever we do, will be all McDonald's as people are leaving the wedding.
03:09We're definitely going to have either Grimace or Ronald McDonald, like, at the reception or something like that.
03:14Definitely going to have, like, a photo shoot at the McDonald's.
03:17This is my dream spot.
03:18There's so much more to people's stories than what's just put in a 10-second video and, you know, to really accept all those different things that come with it.
