00:00Hello, my name is Pro, board member advocate, founder of Create Digital Music.
00:05I based working with Mills and Juju off of their initial engagement with some youth music activities here in the city in Las Vegas.
00:15In conjunction with my guy Rob Lacey and then an associate of ours niece, you know, she kind of got my ear and said, you know, Mills does music.
00:23And I was like, what? You know, we all knew them from the reality TV show.
00:27So I wasn't really astute to his skill set. So, you know, I did some digging, the team did some research and I was like, oh, OK.
00:35You know, when I listen to the music, there's something it wasn't about the analytics.
00:39It was more so understanding the structure, the creation, the business of the music creation.
00:46Right. I could hear it in the songs. I could hear it in the melodies. I could hear it in the writing for the hooks.
00:51I could hear it in the storytelling in the verses. Initially, I didn't even know.
00:57Juju was interested in music at all. What happened is during our first meeting, Mills is like, let me play this for you, too.
01:04I already knew where his music was and I saw I'm sorry, I heard the potential. Right.
01:09So I knew I saw the business angle and the time is with the reality TV show like it made sense, especially on an independent level.
01:16Right. You can leverage that. But he played this song with him and Juju and I was like, who's that?
01:23And he's like, that's Juju. And I'm like, what? Like her cadence, her vocal tone, the personality that came through in the record.
01:30It was actually the song Gangsta Shit, which is available now. So it was a surprise and a pleasant surprise.
01:37So then I asked more about it and he was telling me, look, we're going to collaborate on a bigger level.
01:43He was like me and Juju, we're going to work on some more content. We believe our fans through reality TV are going to gravitate towards this.
01:50And we think that the music is high quality enough to where new fans will come to us through the music.
01:56And then, of course, cross over to being fans of the reality TV show.
02:00So, again, for someone like me in the independent space, it was super attractive because there's all these tie ins in these different levels.
02:06Right. Especially if, you know, the music is high quality because, you know, Quiet is Kept, you know, Mills is not only his own A&R, but he's a producer.
02:16He's a writer. And then now he's producing his wife, you know, and so he's also doing some mixing.
02:23Right. And so when you think of those levels of talent, again, the more you can keep in-house in its quality, it meets the standard or exceeds the standard, it's highly attractive.
02:35So, you know, it's been a pleasure.
02:36You know, working with Create Digital Music is a blessing. Pro is great.
02:40You know, he's always on time, punctual, and he's on top of everything.
02:44Me, I'm not my phone. If you're not calling me, I'm old school. I don't do the text.
02:48I hear the little noise. I got my phone going off every day, every second.
02:52So it's hard for me to get back.
02:54Sometimes I look at my message and he's written, you know, eight o'clock in the morning.
02:57I'm like, holy shit, it's 10 o'clock at night. I haven't even answered the man.
03:00But, you know, Pro is punctual. He's on top of everything, man.
03:04So if you're going to work with someone and you want someone to take your stuff serious, he's the man.
03:09Like, no, hands down, he's the man.
