00:00So I'm Lewis Bramble. I'm one of the franchise owners of the first store in Scotland for Reigns, the Reigns Ingram Street Glasgow store.
00:08So Reigns is a Danish brand and they specialize in waterproof products.
00:13One of the first few products they would have started with would have been the standard jacket and then also the backpack design, which has a satchel kind of design to it.
00:21It has a front flap with a little clip that goes on. That's usually their signature product that they're known for.
00:30So they're trying to implement simple, simplistic design with essential products that you want to be able to input into your daily life.
00:41So products that you'd use every day, some of that you wouldn't leave home without. And I feel like they do that pretty well.
00:47The material is completely waterproof, so it's quite malleable as well.
00:52So you can essentially roll it up and keep it at the bottom of your bag and you can forget about it until it rains.
00:57And then you're like, oh, wait, I have my Reigns jacket or my hat or my bag.
01:01And then you don't even have to worry about getting wet anymore.
01:04It's just part of your daily routine is like, oh, it's raining. Chuck it on and then you're good to go.
01:08The founder, Daniel, he mentioned that it's home to one of the design schools and for quite a creative city, quite a wet city in general as well, Glasgow.
01:22He kind of really wanted to place it here first and then grow.
01:25And as the knowledge about Scotland grows and you'll kind of know where to kind of plant and plug the next stores and pop ups, so to speak, that kind of thing around Scotland.
01:36The first products, like I mentioned, the jacket and the backpack, these designs are sort of like created for your everyday use.
01:44So going to work, not going to work, just day to day leisure kind of thing.
01:48Same with the jacket as well.
01:50Then they've kind of gone on to create parkas and then they've also moved into more fashion kind of designed kind of clothing as well.
01:58They also explore with different materials, nylon as well as the polyurethane, which is the waterproof material.
02:06And then now they are also exploring with like lifestyle.
02:10So the new Suva material, which is more breathable, has a bit more of a mechanical stretch, lighter, but it still has the same complete like waterproof quality.
02:21But it's just, again, lighter, more breathable, easier to roll up, chuck in the bottom of your bag.
02:25Like, even if it's sunny and you have the jacket on, which you have on, you won't be especially warm anymore, but you'll still be waterproof.
02:34So you're covered if it just suddenly you have spring rain, which I think in Glasgow, I've been told you have warm rain and cold rain.
02:40So you're kind of covered on all sides with the bags as well.
02:44They have the backpack, which is for your everyday use.
02:46They have other designs like the roll top.
02:48These are kind of everyday use bags as well, but they've ventured now into like suitcases and this kind of thing.
02:53So you still get the same top tier design with the quality as well, and it's still remaining waterproof.
