00:00Expressandstar.com. We're here with Cal who's created or is creating some wonderful art pieces
00:09detailing Stourbridge bands. We've already got the one Popwell Elite itself just off the ring
00:16road in the town centre. Another town centre venue just off the ring road. He's undertaking
00:21the wonder stuff now. So Cal, how long have you been doing this piece of art?
00:27This was just on the second day, so about two and a half days. The first day was rained
00:34off for a bit. We're about two days in.
00:39And you said inside, you said it's a labour of love for you, you're not getting paid for
00:43it so you aim to enjoy it.
00:45No, exactly. I'm taking my time. It's kind of like a bit of a holiday for me. And I enjoy
00:50painting so I'm just trying to take my time and enjoy the process, enjoy the moment.
00:57And it's all about, in a way, bigging up Stourbridge and its heritage, music heritage.
01:02Stourbridge's got a lot to be proud of. And not everybody realises that. So yeah, Stourbridge's
01:07got a lot to be proud of. And I just want to play my little part in celebrating that sort
01:12of rich history, I guess.
01:14And you've got another one coming up later on. That's probably the biggest of the three
01:18that you're doing.
01:19Yeah, that's going to be the bigger of the three. That's the Ned's Atomic dustbin logo.
01:23The classic yellow on black logo. And that is going to be very big. So yeah, it's really
01:30exciting. We've got more projects coming up later on in the year to again celebrate the
01:35music history of Stourbridge in the area.
01:37OK, well, we'll let you get on with it on a beautiful sunny day in Stourbridge.
01:44Bye.
01:45Bye.
