Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir gifted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif a photo falsely claiming it depicted a Pakistani strike on India. The image, however, was an old 2019 photo of a Chinese military drill featuring the PHL-03 rocket launcher, originally captured by photographer Huang Hai. The deceptive gesture has sparked criticism over the attempt to portray a fabricated military success.
