00:00A collision in the outfield was the cause of some horrifying scenes in a college baseball game
00:11between Ole Miss and Arkansas in the SEC Baseball Tournament quarterfinals on Friday.
00:17With Ole Miss up 5-1 in the bottom of the second, Arkansas Razorbacks batter Cam Koziel
00:22socked a pitch to right-center field. Tracking down the pitch was right fielder Ryan Mowerman
00:27and center fielder Isaac Humphrey. It's unclear if either of them called for the ball.
00:32What is clear is that the two crashed into each other at full speed. As ball caps, gloves,
00:38and sunglasses went scattered around the outfield, Humphrey lay down on the turf and didn't appear
00:42to move. Mowerman got up and slowly ran to the wall to grab the ball, but put up a weak effort
00:48to try and throw it into the infield. Requiring two cutoffs, he eventually went down to the ground
00:53as well. Training staff rushed out to check on both players as the two outfielders stayed down
00:59for a while. Both players ended up getting off the ground under their power. However,
01:04Mowerman tried stretching his legs and saw his left knee buckle.
