2023 Keith Cartledge Cup Final

The 2023 Keith Cartledge Memorial Trophy was held at Station Road on Sunday, April 16 between Bleasby FC and Laxton Athletic FC who are both teams in Division Two of the Newark Alliance.

Alex Bawcutt opened the scoring for Laxton with the side going into half-time up 1-0.
In the second half, Bleasby pegged one back thanks to a Morgan Taylor goal which forced the game to extra time.
After extra time played out, the game went to penalties where Bleasby won the day.
Laxton goalkeeper Robert Densley won a deserved man-of-the-match performance in a close game that went all the way to the final stage.
