00:00As the winner of our business of financing and investment, we know very much that you play in a

00:05space that, you know, though you have a very legal background, but you play in a space, you know,

00:11where finances, investment issues are discussed, right? Tell us a bit about, you know, having to

00:19do law in that space. Okay, so thank you. I just want to start by saying thank you. I was extremely

00:26honored to have received the award. It came as a surprise, to be honest. I wasn't even aware I had

00:32been shortlisted until someone mentioned it. And then when I saw the group of women I had been

00:38shortlisted with, it was, you know, I was deeply honored. So let me start by saying thank you.

00:44On the issue of the workspace, for me, it's what I do. It's something that I'm used to. Because you

00:52can work in a company and not expect to do financing and investment. Their loans to be

00:58taken, their facilities to be gotten, and all this all come together. The documentation for

01:07all these contracts, for all this financing, the facility agreements, they all have to happen

01:12somehow. And they can make or break how a company grows. So yes, for us, it's just a normal day.

01:20Okay, so, so I don't take so much of your time. What does this award mean for you?

01:26It means, for me, that I'm seen. That the work you do isn't wasted. That the effort you put

01:37in daily, the sacrifices you're making, somebody notices. And I think as women, it's important

01:43for us to be seen. Because a lot of us are used to shrinking ourselves.

01:47Right.

01:48To, to, you know, we shrink ourselves every day.

01:51Right.

01:52To let peace reign, to let this go. So it's nice to know that even with all that, we're

01:57still noticed. And I think if you ask a lot of the women that got their awards, that would

02:01be the same thread that would run for everybody, the fact that they're noticed. Because all of

02:06us are just doing our work. We weren't looking to be recognized for it. It is nice to be

02:12recognized for it. Even when you're not expecting it.

02:16So, going forward, moving forward, what more should we expect from you? Because of course,

02:22I know that there will be more awards coming.

02:24Amen. Amen. I'll still do what I'll do. I don't think I'll do anything different. Just do my work.

02:31I'll just continue doing the best. Put in my best each day I go to work.

02:37What's your advice to you? Or what more do you have for women out there who are looking

02:41up to, you know, be on the same table with you? And also grab one of these two.

02:47Just keep grinding. Because one day we'll all come together. Put in the time, put in the

02:55effort. Initially, don't be in a hurry to go too fast. Because if you go too fast, then

03:01you get to the point where you're at the top. But you don't have the foundation for

03:04it. So, you know this thing they say, never belittle the humble beginnings. Yes, it's

03:10important that you always remember that. Thank you so much for coming here. Thank you
