00:00Sometimes his approval ratings are improving, sometimes getting even worse,
00:04but everyone agrees they're awful, apart from him. Arizona is one of the states which helped
00:11Donald Trump win the White House back. We went to the swing state to find out how people who
00:16voted for him last November feel now. Since weeks we've been reaching out to Trump supporters to
00:22try to arrange interviews here in Phoenix, Arizona. It was really hard to get anybody
00:29to agree on. And even those who promised to meet us, they just bailed out last minute. So
00:34we will be driving to a parking lot and be doing it the old way.
00:41So how is the mood in the United States right now? I have no idea. I'm like the most least political
00:46person you'll ever meet. I have absolutely no idea what's going on in politics right now.
00:50Just a quick question. Did you vote for Donald Trump? We're not interested, thank you.
00:54No. Did you vote for him? Yeah, of course I did.
00:56The other candidates on the left were clowns. Sir, how do you feel about him now as he's more
01:02than 100 days in office? Is he fulfilling his promises? Rome wasn't built in a day, you know?
01:09Rome wasn't built in a day. So you can't expect miracles in 100 days. You have to be reasonable.
01:16Common sense, right? Common sense. Is there a crack in his base? I don't know. I'm pretty happy with him so far.
01:23I voted for him, but I'm not like for him, you know? I just agree with him more. I have a lot of
01:30migrant friends and friends who are first generation Americans and they say like, well, why are the
01:36cages happening? Why are there children in cages? What is all this going on? The entire world is kind
01:40of just in limbo with, I don't know what's going to happen. Well, let's see, I guess. And there's nothing
01:44we can expect because he's kind of just crazy. But it's entertaining at the least.
01:50One of the people we'd contacted in advance gets in touch. Melissa Cordero, an Air Force
01:56combat veteran, has decided she will talk with us about the president she voted for back in 2015.
02:03How many did you retire? I did. So I didn't retire. I did my eight years. I did two terms and then
02:10I got out. We want to understand why she supported Trump in the past.
02:17You know, wearing that uniform, being mission oriented. I loved being in the military. We were
02:23all there to do one job. You know, there's that military and veteran camaraderie that you have.
02:28You know, I have conservative, super hardcore Republican friends around me, you know. So I
02:34don't even really think I knew I was a Republican until like somebody, you know, until voting time came
02:41around. But she's changed her mind. You know, I have very, very personal reasons that I don't,
02:48why I dislike this guy. And one of them more recently is how he's treating veterans.
02:52Massive cuts to veteran care. How, how could any Republican who are usually the biggest supporters
03:03of veterans in the military support that? I don't trust him. He doesn't have my back.
03:09He does not care about military people. He's made remarks about we're fools for joining the military.
03:14And it's just like, how can our commander in chief behave this way? He would be the last person I'd want
03:20to go to war with.
