00:00 And I really think this is time now for everybody, our country, to come together. We want to
00:07 come together, whether it's Republican or Democrat or liberal or conservative. It would
00:13 be so nice if we could come together and straighten out the world and straighten out the problems.
00:19 It's just over a week since Donald Trump's Iowa victory, where the former president defied
00:25 expectations, winning almost all counties with a 51% vote and a 30-point lead. That's despite four
00:34 indictments and two impeachments, his polarizing global image and election-denial stance. His
00:42 supporters now envision his second political rise. Globally, confusion persists. How does this
00:49 divisive figure maintain such popularity? Teflon Don, I mean, nothing sticks to him.
00:55 That is a sort of a particular sort of conundrum that we all sort of have to sort of try and work
01:02 out. He's like a vampire when people think he's been killed off by sort of the latest sort of
01:06 court appearance. Actually, ironically, it seems to me, the more times he appears in court,
01:11 the more it gives the sort of the justification for those who claim that, of course, it's a
01:15 witch hunt. And this week, Trump's path to becoming the Republican Party candidate for president
01:22 was strengthened after his largest rival pulled out of the race. I am today suspending my campaign.
01:29 It's clear to me that a majority of Republican primary voters want to give Donald Trump another
01:34 chance. Trump is superior to the current incumbent, Joe Biden. The most recent Gallup opinion poll
01:39 suggests President Biden and former President Trump are matched in favorability with the
01:46 American people. But despite being of similar age, concerns are growing regarding Biden's health.
01:52 You know, I suspect that he's going to sort of hang on as long as possible because
01:56 the view is it's too late for Biden to step down and to have a sort of realistic sort of
02:00 canister to step into sort of the face. But hey, you know, that's the nature of the system. If you
02:04 were to do that, then, of course, it goes to sort of the vice president, Senator Kamala Harris,
02:08 who I don't see as the sort of the person that sort of Democrats want to stand in the next
02:13 election. Voting for the Republican Party nomination moves next to New Hampshire,
02:19 where polling for The Washington Post gives Trump an 18 point lead over his last challenger,
02:26 Nikki Haley. This makes it look ever more likely that a 77 year old will be facing an 81 year old
02:34 in the race to be next American president. But yet Trump is late 70s. So he'll be, you know,
02:40 get getting like buying one of the oldest presidents that we've ever had. It does make
02:44 you wonder. And I like many people ask, is this the sort of the best? You know, if it is a sort
02:48 of Trump versus Biden sort of presidential election, you know, that's the sort of the best
02:53 that the greatest democracy as his claim in the world can sort of offer. Judging on the data that
02:58 we've got thus far, unless something really dramatic happens, I think we're going to see
03:02 a President Trump killer for the second time.
