00:00For black people, it is very important for us to jump on AI at the initial stages because AI is no different than a child.

00:08Whoever programs that child, whoever teaches that child, the child will then represent whoever that programmer is.

00:16If that programmer happens to be a bigot, the child, nine times out of ten, is going to grow up to be a bigot.

00:21If it's filled with kindness, if it's filled with a wide and diverse way of thinking, then that child will probably grow up to do the same.

00:31So that's why it's very important for us to have a vested interest and an early vested interest in technology.
