00:00It is India's global outreach to inform, sensitize, and mobilize the world opinion
00:09about the grave threat that terrorism poses to India, to this region, and to the world as a whole.
00:19In the backdrop of the recent dastardly terror attack in Pahlgham,
00:26and the brutal killings of Indian citizens who were singled out because of their religion,
00:34something which had not happened every time and which needs to be condemned.
00:41Though we had the Chittisingpura killings, the Sikhs were murdered again by the terrorists from across the border.
00:51It is equally important for us to tell the leaders of the countries where we go to
00:59that Pakistan for long has been an epicenter of terrorism.
01:08The terror outfits by the Jaish-e-Mohammed, the Ashkar-e-Taiba, they are nurtured, funded, and sheltered, protected by the state of Pakistan,
01:24by their military leadership.
01:27So this is something which cannot be allowed to go unchecked.
01:34India has in the past, as in when there have been terror incidents, informed the world.
01:45We have been a targeted victim as a country.
01:52You take the attack on parliament in 2000, then we had Uddhampur, we had Jammu, we had Uri, Poonch, then Pulwama, the Helgaam.
02:06How long will this go on?
02:08There is our resolution, supported by many countries, which is there pending for long as the United Nations,
02:17for the comprehensive global convention against terrorism.
02:26Some forward movement has been there to check terror funding through the FATF and other mechanisms.
02:33But that is not enough.
02:35Much more is required to be done.
02:38Pakistan needs to be exposed.
