00:07So in terms of the Isle of Man becoming more digitally innovative, what does it mean in that sense to you?
00:13Difficult to understand for a person like me, I guess. I'm not techie at all, so I wouldn't know.
00:19Why do you think it's important for the Isle of Man to become more digitally innovative?
00:23I think if the Isle of Man becomes more digitally innovative, it'll help, I don't know, progress things like high street, more jobs available,
00:34or push things even further abroad for big companies to come over, offer more jobs again.
00:42And in a digital aspect, do you think that's important as well?
00:45Yeah, definitely. It helps promote local businesses as well, like online, more marketing.
00:49And why do you think it's important for digital innovation on the Isle of Man?
00:55I have no idea.
00:58Because you have to keep up with the times, don't you?
01:01If you don't, you get left behind, and then you're obsolete.
01:04And why do you think digital innovation is important for the Isle of Man?
01:09I mean, I think any kind of innovation in technology is always useful.
01:13I'm a musician myself, so any ways we can push forward in terms of technology to make sure that any digital things can be used as instruments is always handy.
01:22I think as an economy, it could be good, but you just have to watch out for AI's usage of, what's it called, water?
01:29Yeah, that's bad at the moment. That's not very sound, is it?
01:32And why do you think digital innovation is important for the Isle of Man?
01:36I think it's the natural progression of the financial industry here on the Isle of Man.
01:40I think that there's a natural progression into fintech here, which would be really excellent for the island to take up.
01:46What is fintech?
01:48Well, it's the blend of finance and technology, so you're seeing that in some of the neobank rails and things like that.
01:54People are familiar with things like Revolut.
01:57And so I think there's a great opportunity here on the island for some of that regtech stuff to come in.
02:02Why do you think digital innovation is important for the Isle of Man?
02:05I suppose it's like bringing the Isle of Man back into the 21st century.
02:09I'm older than Google, so I really do not know what it's about.
