XRP ETF Filing SHOCKS Crypto World Will BlackRock Follow

We finally have an S-1 filing for an XRP ETF in the U.S. thanks to Bitwise! Canary Capital has also filed a trust for an XRP ETF, and it’s looking like BlackRock’s iShares may not be far behind after their initial filing last year. This could bring much-needed liquidity to XRP, and many of us have been waiting patiently for price appreciation.  With Bitcoin's ETF approval earlier this year driving its price up, I’m optimistic we’ll see the same for XRP soon. Let’s stay hopeful for SEC approval in the near term!

00:00We finally have an S1 filing for an XRP ETF here in the United States. Bitwise has come through

00:07and been the one to deliver. We also have a trust filing from Canary Capital for an XRP ETF,

00:14and that tells me that BlackRock is likely not too far behind with their iShares that mysteriously

00:19disappeared last year after it was filed in November. Hopefully this brings liquidity into

00:25XRP. I know a lot of people have been waiting on price appreciation for a significant period of

00:29time. We did see a significant rise in Bitcoin with the launch and the advent of their ETF approval

00:35earlier this year in January. So for me, I remain hopeful and looking forward to the fact that we

00:41are going to see approval by the SEC for an XRP ETF here in the short term.
