00:03According to Press Trust of India, it's been released after having been held by Indian authorities for eight months on suspicion of spying for China.
00:11The AP reports that in May, the pigeon was found in Mumbai with rings on its legs and Chinese-looking characters stamped on its feathers.
00:18But apparently, it was just an open-water racing bird from Taiwan.
00:22It was held at a veterinary hospital until Pita India managed to secure its release.
00:27And now, it's free as a bird.
