00:21on Monday that the defense had submitted a plea bargain request, and the prosecution needed

00:29Judge Ahmad Fuad Othman set July 17 for the next hearing to decide on the matter.

00:35On April 25, 2024, 39-year-old Hafizul pleaded not guilty to attempting to murder his ex-wife,

00:43Farah Mard Issa, also 39, at the International Arrivals Hall of KLIA Terminal 1 at 109 a.m.

00:50on April 14, 2024.

00:54He was charged under Section 307 of the Penal Code, which carries up to 10 years imprisonment

00:59and a fine, or up to 20 years, if injury is caused, upon conviction.

01:04Hafizul also pleaded not guilty to a second charge of voluntarily causing grievous hurt

01:10to Farah's bodyguard, Muhammad Nur Hadith Zaini, 39, using a pistol capable of causing death.

01:17This charge, under Section 326 of the Penal Code, carries a maximum sentence of 20 years'
