00:08in Everton's 133-year history. The stadium, affectionately known as the Grand Old Lady,
00:15hosted 2,791 matches and more top-flight campaigns than any other English ground,

00:25Club legend Colin Harvey, who played in a celebrated midfield alongside Alan Bourne and Howard Kendall,
00:31reflected on the magic of Goodison Park.
00:34It was the leading ground in the country, a 1966 World Cup venue and semi-final host.
00:40Playing there on the night was like being on stage.
00:44Harvey's most treasured memory came in April 1970, scoring the winning goal as Everton clinched the league title
00:50with a 2-0 victory over West Brom.
00:53We collected the trophy in the director's box and my dad was just outside.
00:58That made it even more special.
01:00Goodison was more than a stadium for Harvey.
01:03Growing up just behind the Gladys Street terrace, his father took him and his brother to matches,
01:10cementing a lifelong bond with the club and community.
01:14Over the decades, Goodison witnessed historic moments like Eusebio's 1966 World Cup hat-trick
01:21and Everton's famous 3-2 FA Cup comeback against Sheffield Wednesday the same year.
01:26For supporters like Steve and Jane Jones, the stadium has been the backdrop to family milestones,
01:32with stands like the Gladys Street End steeped in history and emotion.
01:36It's such an amazing ground and so much history is built into it and it's not just that it's a special ground as an Everton fan.
01:46I think it's a special ground for football, for English football, for world football even.
01:51Everton's farewell was emotional but the club confirmed Goodison Park will live on as the permanent home of Everton women,
02:00supporting the growth of the women's game.
