00:02The 2026 first crop sires in France are a strong group, featuring stallions like Onesto, Mishriff,
00:08Vadini and Erevan. The stallion who retired at the highest fee that year is also the one with
00:14the most yearlings here at Arcana this week. That's Ace Impact with 13. We talked to Ara de Beaumont's
00:20Mathieu Alex about his expectations for Ace Impact at this sale. It's a very positive sign to have
00:2813 yearlings at the Salex Sales, the first sale of the year in France. It's a big number for an
00:33unproven horse. He was a pure, pure champion, but you know what it's like. He's going to be competing
00:37against proven stallions. Arcana have selected the yearlings on physique and pedigree, so it's a very,
00:43very positive note. It's very exciting for us because everyone can remember this horse and his
00:49career. He was the highest three-year-old in the world in 2023. Jules Cartier, a world-winning horse,
00:56so it's, you know, it's very exciting to see the progeny of this champion. We look forward to see
01:02them at the sales. We have plenty here on the farm and we've seen plenty at the client's stud farms,
01:08but you know, obviously the sales is a big, big, big step in his career. So yeah, it's exciting.
01:14Ace Impact is a very strong horse, who as you can see, he's matured very, very well in year two
01:19and
01:20three at stud. He's got a lot of strength and great movement. And yes, the yearlings that we have,
01:25that we've seen, seems to have the same attributes. I would say he has strength,
01:29very important. And also he's a very laid-back horse, great, great temperament. And from what I can
01:36gather from the people that are looking after them recently, they are very much the same.
01:42He was extremely sound, this horse. He first raced in January as a three-year-old and raced all year
01:47round, running at the highest level, winning the French Derby and the Prix de Lac at the three-year-old,
01:52you know, at the end of the year. So very, very sound horse. And the progeny looked like they have
01:58that great soundness about them. The great moving horses. Ace Impact was extremely popular at stud,
02:05covering mares from all over the world, mainly Europe, of course, but also Japan and America.
02:11And we have, for the last couple of weeks, had a lot of interest in his first yearling selling here
02:16at Deauville. I think the way he won his race, his turn of foot was extraordinary. He has the track
02:21record in the Prix de Jockey Club and the way he finished in the Arc was just extraordinary. And I
02:26think
02:26people remember these races and the quality of his finish. So yes, people are showing plenty of interest
02:34and I hope they'd be delighted with the stock we have here. I would just recommend them to watch his
02:39races again and the Prix de Jockey Club and the Arc. It's just extraordinary, the way it would quicken.
02:45And just to refresh the memory, three years ago seems a long way, but it was very impressive in
02:51those days. A huge privilege to be standing a horse of that caliber. Fantastic job done by the Chebou
02:56family to be able to secure this horse and support him the way that they've done. It's
03:02extraordinary exciting for all of us here at Beaumont to be standing a horse like him.
