15:38the hardliners well murdoch not in a very jovial mood here this morning he must have

15:45stayed out too late last night to do drop in powerhouse parker and from firmingham alabama

15:53mike jackson mike jackson better spit out his gum before he starts this match i don't want to say

16:00murdoch uh partakes in ale from time to time but i would say his body is relatively packed with

16:07choice hops and barley you know what i mean he is one tough hombre i've known him for 20 years he

16:16was wrestling when i got in the sport 20 years ago and uh i have never been around anybody that

16:22has that is as physically tough as dick murdoch and he and dick slate are two veterans they won

16:31a lot of regional titles they've competed around the world many times especially murdoch but i

16:37think they feel like this is going to be one of those opportunities that may not come along for

16:41them again they want the world tag team titles and gordon's going to address that in the news

16:46but frankly paul uh they have done what no other team including the road warriors including the

16:52nasty boys including the horsemen including nobody could do and that's break that armor of the steiner

16:58oh they most certainly have you know i've never said they could out wrestle the steiner brothers

17:03i never said they could outpower the steiner brothers but they could beat them up and for the

17:08first time in their careers the steiner brothers have shown that they are oh man they are truly

17:16vulnerable and just look at how murdoch is manhandling mike jackson the same way he manhandled

17:23scott steiner tag may murdoch in kick to the midsection and they didn't do it fairly and they

17:32cheated to do it and they use the dirtiest tactics ever seen but they still got the job done

17:40and in the collection business that's all that counts great right hand by murdoch well we

17:46understand that jim hurd's going to make a major announcement tonight on wcw and it just may it

17:52just may pertain to the world tag team championship nice neck breaker by slater we know that the

18:02bylaws say that you have to defend the title every 30 days

18:06just like it is at boxing uh and with scott steiner out

18:1530 years later dick murdoch the hardliner two grizzled veterans gee you know with scott steiner

18:23out i guess he can't uh make it to the cage in baltimore can he well maybe not as an active

18:29participant in the ring but we'll speculate more on that in the program the hardliners

18:34very dominant here on the power hour

18:40you know fans i've known dick murdoch and dick slater for quite some time they are real veterans

18:45in the sport as a matter of fact i've officiated many of murdoch and slater's matches i can tell

18:49you that you always found them not only giving a hundred percent but attempting to hurt their

18:54opponents they have been successful in doing what people said couldn't happen they have hurt

18:59both the steiners you see if it was just a typical wrestling match you got to give it to the steiner

19:03brothers they're younger they're in better shape they're in better condition they're stronger

19:07they're quicker but slater and murdoch are two grizzled veterans perhaps at the apex of their

19:13career and the one thing you got to say about dick slater and dick murdoch is that these two guys can

19:18fight and the hardline collection agency is here to collect the world tag team title belts we're

19:24going to take an in-depth look at that situation a little bit later here this morning on tbs and

19:29wnn news with the dean gordon soley but before we go to that let's show you this week's installment

19:35from the desperados bart are you tired partner i'm dog time i'm so plum turkered out i can't even

19:46yo but i'm so damn glad i got out of that jail but you know the time i said i want you to listen

19:53to this the time i was sitting in that jail i i did a lot of thinking you know the time we sit

19:58in that jail would it could have been the time we could have been looking for stan anson i knew i

20:03knew i know he was in this town i could feel him bart i could feel him right here i had a feeling

20:10and you know another thing now we got to get our sights set just a little bit further down the line

20:15they got this thing coming up called the great american bank that's right and it's real important

20:21to them folks down there and it's real important old black bark and i know it's important you will

20:26not be laying around in those dead doomed jails we need to make our lives useful instead of sitting

20:31in jail like common horse thieves and while we said listen why was we in jail in the first place

20:36you know if he wasn't such good friends with stan hansen you know i'd vote to ditch him you know

20:43he can't hear

20:58and he probably can't even cook give me some of them beans

21:12do you smell that aroma that is the foulest dead sure it ain't coming from

21:43welcome to wnm news i'm gordon solis our league story this week concerns the arrival of the

21:49hardliners at world championship wrestling and their effect upon the wrestling scene and more

21:55particularly on the world tag team champions the steiner brothers it was at the clash when

22:01the steiners were defending their titles and suddenly after the match was over the hardliners

22:07appeared and here's what happened to rick steiner their fists are taped slater and murdoch are in

22:15and they they're beating the steiners up after this tremendous match

22:18neckbreaker by slater the hardliners hitting the ring they're hitting anything that moves

22:25but we know why they're here they're here to take apart the steiners

22:32subsequent to the injury incurred on rick steiner scott steiner was also injured by the hardliners

22:37in fact the matter is scott steiner could be out for as much as three months more recently

22:43rick steiner went up against dick slater in a single match well scott steiner could not be

22:48at ringside however dick murdoch was and he was the one to take him out of the match

22:55dick slater in a single match well scott steiner could not be at ringside however

23:00dick murdoch was and once again the intentions of the hardliners became

23:05increasingly apparent as once again they attempted further injury on steiner

23:15they're right above us here slater doesn't want to break the hole

23:18got to be very careful here because we don't know exactly they've kept it a well-guarded secret

23:26extended the injury of rick steiner he could very easily be wrestling right now

23:30with a cracked arm his brother hurt more seriously than that

23:36we may have some information on his injury on the main event tomorrow night if we are able to obtain

23:41it

24:05and scotty's not here to save rick steiner they're gonna break that arm for good

24:10before we take a further look at the steiner situation i would like to comment on the

24:14passing of john wolfman smith he was a professional wrestler who competed in the

24:19united states and canada during the 60s and 70s he was 69 when he passed away now let's get on to

24:26the steiner situation here we have a situation where scott steiner might be out for as much

24:32as three months world championship wrestling is in a quandary in this particular point

24:37because what are they going to do with the titles well the hardliners have in mind that the titles

24:42should go up for grabs frankly i have to agree with them if the steiners cannot defend the titles

24:49in the required 30 days then indeed either a tournament or some sort of event has to be held

24:56to determine new world tag team champions the titles are much too valuable much too important

25:02to wait until somebody recovers from injuries that's wnn for this week

25:19ladies and gentlemen the following tag team event it is set for one fall
