00:39Did you ever imagine you'd win it?
00:41No, we always wanted to, like from day one we were like, we're gonna win this, we're gonna
00:46win this, but I've never ever thought we were second to win it.
00:57To do something like that, and yeah, it's something that we haven't done before, so I'm just like,
01:01I'm definitely gonna continue to do it.
01:03I'm always going to do it, dancing's in my blood, so to do this, and for the charities,
01:08and to have it in my nest, it's just the best, so yeah, thank you everyone.
01:14Dancing in front of so many people, how did it feel for you?
01:17I hated it, to be honest, yesterday was the worst, wasn't it?
01:20I was just, I was crying all day, I was just, I didn't think I could do it, it's a really hard
01:25thing to do, but I did it, I wanted to, yeah, try to myself.
01:30Tonight was a different story, you smashed it.
01:32Oh, I just came in here and relaxed tonight, and I was just like, do what will happen to happen?
01:35But the feeling of dancing with all those people, you just don't, I've never felt like it,
01:40I just went through both nights, last night and tonight, it's just amazing.
01:46And I have decided, drum roll.
01:49Drum roll on the tables!
01:51Do you know what, tonight has been wonderful, the atmosphere has been insane.
01:56All of the dancers have done themselves right, it was a tough competition,
02:00I wasn't sure which way it was going to go, I was literally given a lot of 10s,
02:06that's how impressed I was, but the audience spoke and all the scores were calculated,
02:12and yet there was such a wonderful reaction when first, second and third place was announced,
02:19but in my eyes, all the hard work, the dedication and all that they achieved upon their dance floor,
02:25they are all winners.
02:27I'm so proud to have been part of the local Invernet Strictly,
02:31and obviously it's very different to our Strictly, because here you've got two amateurs dancing with each
02:36other, whereas on Strictly you have a pro dance with an amateur, so they really did themselves so
02:41proud, they danced so well, they had no professional layer to rely on it,
02:46only the timing, the steps, the performance, and yeah, they brought the crowd down each and every
02:52before.
02:53I have to say, Scottish audiences are always loud, amazing, give such a great energy,
03:01but my first time to Inverness, and I felt so welcomed, it's been such a lovely weekend,
03:07I also had the honour and opportunity to visit Highland Hospice earlier, and oh, what they have created there,
03:16for their patients and the community, it's outstanding, and it was very emotional,
03:21I got to meet so many of the patients, and hear their stories, and meet their families,
03:27yeah, I did have a cry afterwards, but they're the most strongest, bravest female I've ever met,
03:34but the volunteers, the nurses, everybody who's made tonight happen, everyone who works at the
03:40hospice, they do such an amazing importance from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
