00:00what's up the SSH server is pre-installed on almost any Arch Linux
00:07installation it's a part of the base set of software however the service doesn't
00:18come enabled by default you need to enable it or start it yourself just
00:24remember that I like to control multiple computers at the same time mostly through
00:32SSH, VNC or RDP so I always start the service of SSH on Arch Linux I don't
00:45need to install the SSH server since I installed the base set so to start the
00:52service simply run this command you can check the status like this and I have
01:05enabled it since I kept always starting the service and it has become repeated
01:14process that consumes time I enabled the service you can do the same by running
01:22this command or I guess it wasn't enabled you can enable it like this I thought I
01:32did enable it but I'm wrong or you can simply enable it and start it at the same
01:38time with one command which would be like this all right we can check the status
01:49again like this and you can see that it's enabled and active and running the fresh
01:59installation like this so far of Arch Linux doesn't need you to open any port you
02:06need to you need to install a firewall and control which port port should be open I
02:17have made two videos about firewalls that can be installed on Arch Linux I'll put
02:25them in the cards or in the description this video has come to an end thank you
