00:18wider community's view, with two party preferred counts showing Andrew G.1 10 of the 13 polling

00:24booths in the nuclear hot seat of the Lithgow area. Despite announcing Mount Piper as the site

00:30for nuclear power, the Coalition never visited the Lithgow area, leaving the community in the dark

00:36about its future. Mount Piper Power Station is set to close its coal energy generation within a decade,

00:45with operations winding down by 2030, before its full closure in 2035.
