00:00I think the key to making a good brownie is that the butter and the chocolate are
00:11melted together you want that crust on them you know that little crust that's on the top
00:16of the brownie kind of a little lighter than the rest of the brownie so the butter and the
00:21and the chocolate gets melted together then you whisk in the eggs so first you melt the butter
00:27here we'll start so everybody knows exactly the recipe comes from this book which I'm going to
00:32give you oh I love that I'm giving you this I'm going to give you your night shirt you know all
00:36these things okay it's in here now this one tells you to bake it in a brownie pan you know the little
00:42eight by eight pan yeah the little silver pan but we're going to do it in a different kind of pan
00:45because for you we wanted to make it a little different these are called Snoop Dogg brownies
00:50and you do know that three quarters of a cup of butter three quarters that much butter well it's
00:55one and a half sticks that's a whole thing of parquet we're not whatever you can use parquet if you
01:05must butter butter better for me uh 12 ounces of bittersweet chocolate that's what that is
01:12yep all all chopped up so it melts faster okay okay so we doubling up on the chocolate we're doing
01:18one and a half times the recipe okay so yeah you're right it's three quarters and three quarters
01:24is one and a half cups but this is 12 ounces 12 ounces yeah 12 ounces 12 ounces which is different
01:32are you sure those are those 12 ounces yeah we measured it we measured it exactly okay okay we got
01:39some ounces in the building now yours is melted already like magic okay like magic and then we
01:49are going to add the sugar into this cooled mixture of the chocolate see how nice and silky silky it is
01:56and then stir are you left-handed no I'm right-handed so then do the other way
01:59you're ambidextrous yes I can use both hands at the same time okay so pick up your sugar with your
02:08left hand with my left hand well I bet you I bet you stir I bet you stir better with your right hand
02:13I'll probably do yeah how much it is but now keep stirring yeah round and around all of it all of this
02:19sugar yeah two and a quarter oh we're gonna have cavities so now one at a time when do we add
02:23when do we add the um the eggs no the um the stuff yeah well later okay and that's secret okay
02:31so we go with the eggs right now okay one at a time oh just one yeah you're lucky I used to work
02:37at McDonald's I know how to do this I bet I bet you didn't have to do any baking at McDonald's
02:44yeah I did you did what'd you make egg McMuffins oh how are you doing I'm doing a little elbow grease
02:50there okay get up in there and twist it around twist it around whisk those in whisk those babies
02:57in now do you see why you do one at a time yeah because they're not squeezing that's right it gets
03:04it gets a little too wet but you keep doing it all it'll all of a sudden okay it's getting together now
03:09okay it's a chemical reaction see nice and smooth but use your whisk don't be afraid to use it
03:18let me get up in there like that yeah around and around okay it's getting thick now okay yeah now you add
03:28your one and a half teaspoons of vanilla which one is over there vanilla is burgundy brown yeah
03:34why do they call it vanilla and it's burgundy
03:36I thought vanilla doesn't mean white it means vanilla okay it's the flavor
03:43and three quarters of a teaspoon of salt I'm confused but can't you wrap while we're doing
03:49this tell me what you're doing you want green brownies yes he wants green brownies brownish
03:54green brownies greener the better greener the better one cup plus two tablespoons of flour
04:00I thought that was all like passe so all of the flour just a little bit at a time just to get it all

04:57whichever you got you got dark green I have dark green sparkly glazing sugar light green and this is
05:03light green okay that's light green yeah so you can use sparkly sugar with sprinkles without sprinkles
05:08what do you get this is a good idea what do you get this green sparkly stuff from uh from the cake
05:16decorating store this is pretty you know where that is I want to mix some of that green okay here let's
05:22double up on mine okay so bake these at 350 degrees why not why not bake them at 420 degrees because
05:29they all they all get overdone here I'll show you here here you have to taste yeah baking is an exact
05:35science it's very hard to get non-bakers to understand if you were going to cut this into
05:39even number of squares would you start in the middle no where would you start if I was going to
05:43cut it into even numbers even number of squares even number of squares I start right here and just
05:48cut a square yep okay so you like corners I don't like corners I like in here the corner right there
05:55see that you got my first square right there you see that yeah I'm sharp with it yeah you're sharp

06:51I didn't say to see what he had done that night but uh but he's always such a fantastic performer
06:55and a wonderful artist so we took a picture you know you do that with everybody in the in the green
07:00room and then um and I gave and I said I would send him the picture so we sent him the picture
07:05and now he emailed me back and um and it says now I now I have to have him on because I don't know what
07:12the heck he's saying um it goes uh subject and he only does subject so maybe he's texting me I don't know
07:19but it's probably the same language uh hey ms it's Snoop Dogg says hi NCN how you doing holla back boo

11:27take the danger out of it and you make it friendly okay the second season of snoop's reality show
11:34snoop dog's fatherhood premieres in less than two weeks take a look as snoop tries to teach his oldest
11:40son and this is a real reality show they really move into your house with the cameras you allow
11:45them to do that and are you acting naturally i'm being me at all times i don't know how to do nothing

12:37wife and kids and i have to raise them all right and were you in trouble with the fires that snoop lives
12:42with his family and um in california and uh were you threatened by the fires yeah my family had to
12:48evacuate it was real close it was like maybe 10 15 minutes away really um i have one friend hi caroline
12:55and karma and uh they they lost their whole house they lost everything in montecito so um by the way you
13:02have five tips for fatherhood that i think are very funny very amusing and very true okay what are they
13:12tips on fatherhood the number one tip is know when to lie to your kids that's very very important
13:21the number two tip is know when to be mean and know when to be a friend okay mean meaning no you can't
13:28go okay but that's not mean that's me man you can't go that's being a disciplinarian more volume makes
13:35it a little bit more mean oh okay number three is always stay in control it's hard but you got to
13:41always with the kids it's especially hard right very because they're almost smarter than we are
13:45right they are because they're they're our kids yeah that's right and number four is serve them gin
13:52i mean serve them juice but hold the gin okay that's better okay okay my fault
14:00and the most important one is number five when the kids give you attitude pop them like it's hard
14:06okay so keep them respectful of their elders at all times at all times now you have three kids yes
14:17and uh i i heard of a fourth one that's sort of like adopted yeah or he's hanging out he's a family
14:24member that looks out for my kids and you know we kind of like brought him in but is he hanging out
14:28because he he's hanging out because he respects you and wants your lessons right every moment of being
14:33around us he's a great kid he's respectable he's like a big brother to my young kids so we love it
14:38so um okay so so do you all like in the reality show gather in the kitchen and cook and do stuff
14:44like that together well i i put together a little you know i cook on the show where i did something
14:48for the girls you know i babysitted the girls and i whipped up a cake made some popcorn and cotton candy
14:54you understand me because i do know how to whip it up a little bit more for the trip well they they
14:59didn't know and you know when when the producers were working on our segment together they thought
15:03maybe you didn't cook or so we're only just doing my mom's mashed potatoes no i cook chicken wings
15:10macaroni and cheese collard greens so we're just we're just gonna play too much cornbread oh we should
15:15have made the turkey cornbread with you we did that last week huh we should have did that you should
15:20have but how about my mom's mashed potatoes let's do that because i like to learn new things okay this is
15:24this is easy and it's very uh simple i'm just going to add the potatoes to a pot of water cold
15:30water to cover these are beautiful yukon gold so when you open them they're kind of yellow inside
15:36do you know about yukon gold they make great french fries they do they do mashed potatoes we're back
15:41again um the potatoes have been boiled i've never done it with a machine yeah well it's easy so how do you
15:47do it with the yeah we in the hood we like yeah yeah yeah so just peel the potatoes uh you can peel that
15:54one with your fingers or a knife like peel it back no this one this one needs to be peeled see like this
16:01just take the peels off peel like making french fries the skin we make french fries that skin good
16:06no no yo no just the skin just just the skin look this just peel the skin off oh you want me to take
16:12the skizzing off of it my bad there it is the potato chip wrapping okay so you have a you have your own
16:19vocabulary now you are really responsible for your vocabulary right you are the inventor of it yeah so
16:24much so much okay and does everybody understand you i mean your kids understand you no they don't
16:30and you know what's crazy martha i don't even understand it so that's the great part about it
16:34you just have fun with it i just have fun talking and so uh you have a new album coming out for
16:39christmas right yeah oh so like are you going to sing like traditional christmas oh no oh no santa
16:44claus i got songs like santa claus go straight to the ghetto really yeah so this is this is going to be a
16:52a rap a rap christmas album i got a couple of r b songs but they're just a little bit different
16:57okay yeah quite different okay so that look how pretty perfect see he's a he's a perfectionist
17:03you know that in there and we'll just mash those up and put the whole stick of butter the whole thing
17:09yeah we love butter don't you love butter is this part k or marjorie no no this is butter this is
17:15butter real butter i used to like that commercial unsalted butter and look okay
17:24but we like we like i use real butter i don't i don't use uh is that butter too no this is cream
17:29cheese can i get a little bit of that yeah right there you have your whole eight ounces but shake it
17:33down yeah shake it ain't it man yeah but that would do
17:37yeah so these are rich this is for thanksgiving this dish this is where my mom's this smell good
17:46what is this again mashed potatoes plain old mashed potatoes they don't smell like this when we make
17:53them they're aren't they good yeah yeah they're going to be delish you're going to put black pepper on
17:58them too put what black pepper oh yeah a lot of black pepper yeah but we have white pepper for some
18:03reason but i like black pepper here now a whole a cup of a quarter of a cup of warm milk and a
18:10quarter of a cup of heavy cream because you're skinny you you you dance all the time and and run around
18:16say baby i'm athletically built that's what we call this side you are you are you are really good so
18:23salt to taste a little bit of salt sprinkle a little pepper to taste this is white pepper i never seen
18:28white pepper y'all get smell smell i don't like that i like black pepper man can we have black pepper
18:35black pepper please i agree step your game up come on they're just being fancy they think they're
