00:32I liked what I saw out of Boston, but your point is very valid here.

00:39I wonder what they'll come up with.

00:41A good coaching staff like Joe Mazzulla is going to devise a game plan that says,

00:45We're going to use different options out here.

00:48You know, different guys at the three-point line.

00:50More players have to play.

00:51More players have to step up.

00:52But now you have an M.O. here.

00:53If you're the Knicks, and okay, we saw what they did.

00:55They're going to shoot a lot of three-point shots.

00:57If they go down, it's going to be tough to beat them.

00:59Under average from three-point line, we're going to beat them.

01:01So it's up to now Tom Thibodeau to change and make the adjustments on what they saw from the Boston Celtics.

01:11How many times does a Major League Baseball team fire a manager and go and win the next three out of four games

01:16You get that bump here.

01:17It's the same thing when you take a look at the Golden State Warriors,

01:19who don't have as talented as a team, depth-wise, as the Boston Celtics.

01:24Sooner than later, without your player, it's like, man,

01:26you're relying on guys that aren't supposed to be the top dogs in trying to fill out that role,

01:30and you're also playing more high-leverage minutes in those tough game situations

01:34where at the end of a game, what did the Boston Celtics do typically?

01:37Jalen Brown and or Jason Tatum take that shot.

01:40Now everybody knows Jalen Brown wants that shot.

01:42You overcorrect the defense, and now it's like, ooh, Horford, do I take this shot?

01:45Or Derek White, is that your big shot that you take now at the end of the game?

01:48Those things will happen over the next two games if there are two more games.

01:51But for me, I liked what I saw out of Boston.

01:54That's a team running on adrenaline, feeding off the home crowd.

01:57It was a frenzy in the third and fourth quarter.

01:58Good for them, but also at the same time, you don't win championships without your best player.

02:04Has it ever happened in the NBA?

02:05Like, hey, lost Giannis, round number two, still won the championship.
