00:00I mentioned right before the break that I would talk about the market movement

00:04that has caught my attention the most. Story number one to me is still the same

00:07story that I had in the offseason before this year began. The Celtics being an

00:12incredibly short favorite to win yet another NBA championship and that still

00:18being the case. But now Oklahoma City matching the best record in the NBA and

00:23having the best one out west at 44 and 10 closing that gap. Plus 195 for Boston.

00:29Now plus 230 the Thunder only 35 cents behind. The second story to me is the

00:36dramatic odds movement in a regressive way against the Philadelphia 76ers.

00:4210-1 before the year because he had Tyrese Maxey, Dwell and Bede, the

00:46acquisition of Paul George. Maybe they could provide that test to the Celtics

00:50in the Eastern Conference. Now at a hundred to one. Joe Philadelphia is 20

00:57and 34. They are 14 games below 500. Any given night you have no idea who is

01:04going to play for Philadelphia and Bede has missed so many more games than he

01:09has actually played this year. Tyrese Maxey is trying his darndest. Earlier in

01:15the year it was the rookie out of Duke, Jared McCain, doing everything he could.

01:19He's out for the remainder of this season. Paul George has better podcast

01:23numbers than he does actual scoring numbers as a member of the Philadelphia

01:2876ers. And yet Joe, although it seems the 76ers have zero chance of even getting

01:34to the postseason because they're 14 games under 500, they're only a game and

01:40a half out of the 10 seed in the Eastern Conference. Which would mean they would

01:45at least have a play-in tournament opportunity if they can at least win a

01:50couple of games down the stretch. Yeah, no. I can see them and thank you for

01:57participating here. There is some good news in Philadelphia though.

02:02You're watching Tyrese Maxey grow up before your eyes into what is a

02:06franchise player. You have young guys like Justin Edwards, Jared McCain, also

02:13very, very good players. The problem is Paul George is a total bust. May have

02:18been one of the worst contracts given in the league. And Bede can't stay healthy.

02:23His attitude stinks. But the good news is with those young players, there is

02:28enough talent on this roster where I don't think the rebuild would take that

02:33long. But keep in mind, of all teams, the Oklahoma City Thunder right now,

02:39because of the trade, own Philadelphia's first round pick, which is

02:44projected to be a top five or six pick. Oklahoma City is going to get another

02:49top five pick in the draft if things stay the same. Just absolutely horrific

02:55season for the Philadelphia Sixers.
