00:07Miss World Potealoo, Telangana
00:10Hi, first of all, we wish you all the best
00:15So how are you feeling visiting Hyderabad and Telangana?
00:18And you are from which country?
00:20I'm from Ireland
00:22It's been an absolute honor to be here in Hyderabad
00:25And yesterday we actually went into the amazing Pearl City
00:28And it was just seeped in culture and history
00:31And it felt like a Disney movie walking through it
00:34So it was absolutely unreal
00:35We had the best time ever
00:37And we were in some pearl shops as well
00:39So beautiful, beautiful city
00:40We're honored to be here, thank you
00:42Before choosing this as your personal choice
00:45Do you have any profession or passion along with this?
00:49Yeah, so I'm a human rights lawyer
00:52I'm a paralegal, I have a law degree
00:54And a masters in human rights and European Union law
00:57So that is my day job
00:59And pageantry has always just been something that's elevated me in life
01:02And has definitely made the journey a lot more enjoyable
01:06As you are a human rights lawyer
01:08I just want to ask you one thing
01:10You are an young girl and human rights lawyer
01:12So many youngsters, they don't know what are their rights and what are the laws
01:16What's the message you want to give for the youngsters
01:18Who doesn't know about their rights and the laws which are supporting them?
01:22I think it's important when you have a platform like this
01:26That you really advocate for people who don't have a voice
01:29And you show them what they're entitled to, what their rights are
01:32And how for me personally I advocate for education
01:35And I go around to so many schools all around the world
01:37Telling them how important education is
01:39And how their right to education is the key out of poverty
01:43So I guess it's all about informing people about what the rights are
01:47So have you felt when you visit the schools
01:49You go back to your school days or how have you felt?
01:52Yeah, I mean when I go into the little classrooms with like kids that are five or six or four
01:58They're so adorable and I've had the amazing pleasure of writing my own book
02:03So I'm able to actually go in there and read my own book to my old primary school
02:07Which I attended when I was that age
02:09So it's really special for me
02:11And you know to see all their smiles on their faces
02:13And the feelings that they have inside and the happiness
02:16It means the world to me
02:17It definitely has nostalgia and feelings attached to it, yeah
02:21So beauty is not about just physical appearances
02:24It is about heart
02:25And you are working for the children and the human rights
02:28So it's very good to know that
02:30But what is the purpose behind this beautiful girl?
02:33Yeah, I think it's so important in life to have a purpose and to have a mission
02:38Every single girl at this pageant comes not just with being beautiful
02:42But with having a purpose in life
02:44And actually, you know, having an advocacy that they fight for
02:47For the whole year during their reign
02:49And it's really admirable
02:50And I think it's not what's on the outside that makes you beautiful
02:54But definitely what's on the inside
02:56So you're from which country and you're here for the last few days, no?
03:01So how was the situation here and you like the food here?
03:04Yes, so my name is Shania Raista and I come from Gibraltar
03:07And honestly, the day, the moment that I've arrived
03:10Everyone has been amazing, the hospitality
03:12I think no other country can be telling Ghana
03:15Honestly, they've been amazing, welcoming
03:18And honestly, so grateful to be here
03:20So thank you for having me
03:21The food here has been amazing
03:23In Gibraltar, actually, we're very multicultural
03:25Therefore, we do have Indian cuisine
03:27We have Chinese, we have Moroccan
03:29We have a variety of foods
03:30Therefore, I am quite used to the food here
03:32And I love spice, so that's good
03:35Which food you really loved here?
03:38Is there any Telangana cuisine you liked?
03:40Actually, it's a dessert, sorry
03:42I'm not quite sure what the name is
03:43But I know it's a fried onion
03:46Dressed with some kind of custard syrup
03:48It reminds me of Shuru, so it does remind me of home
03:51Yeah
03:52The dress you are wearing is full of pink
03:55Which is feminine
03:56So, what the purpose you want to have in your future?
04:01The purpose you are carrying in this Miss World
04:04Is there any, particularly for women?
04:07Yes, actually, I'm here advocating for mental health
04:10Which I feel is very close to my heart
04:12As many family members of mine suffer from mental health issues
04:15Especially here, I'm here to send a message
04:17No matter what, despite who you are
04:19Despite if you are suffering from mental illness
04:22You are, you can do anything
04:24Anything is possible, you just have to put your mind to it
04:26So, mental health is the one biggest problem in these days
04:30And no one wants to talk about this
04:32So, what the message you want to give for the people who are suffering with the mental health?
04:36How important it is to address about that?
04:39Yes, so mental health issues is quite a big issue at the moment
04:42However, it's not really being actioned
04:44Therefore, I stand here today to send a message
04:47And I have been fortunate enough to work with Clubhouse Gibraltar
04:51Which focuses on building skills, on building confidence
04:55So, therefore, it is important to work on yourself and to have the great support of others
04:59Thank you so much, all the best for the finals
05:02Thank you so much
05:03So, with whom you also have to do the human rights
05:07For the mental health issues, we get to the important issue of mental health issues
05:10We get to the right to the right to work on this issue
05:13We get to the right to the right to the right to the right to the right to the right to the right
