00:00Our response is about getting the balance right so that we can protect the community

00:05but also understand and address the reality that we've got.

00:09If we look at this whole scenario, we have had a very methodical approach.

00:14We've had the trials in vocations, we've then had the inquiry, we've had enormous work

00:21being done by Transport for New South Wales on the implications.

00:25We're looking to other jurisdictions in Australia to see how we can learn from them

00:30and we are going forward to put our legislation to Parliament later this year.

00:35But nothing changes in the law today.

00:37This is our response to the inquiry that was undertaken by the Parliament.
