00:00Is this season 22 we're going into?
00:02Getting ready to do it, yeah.
00:04How many more seasons do you think we got in us?
00:07I think back in season 6 we were like, probably two, probably two.
00:11So I clearly have no answer to that question.
00:14Now it's like where it's going to go on forever.
00:17Is there a storyline that you feel like you haven't covered as extensively as you may this season?
00:25Oh my, that's so hard to say.
00:28You know, the one thing about our writers is that truth is stranger than fiction.
00:34So whatever it is that they can come up with pales in comparison to what in the world is going on in the world.
00:39And I don't know how it is timing-wise that Grey's Anatomy is usually talking about something that is so current in that moment.
00:48And when you think about it, that we shoot this so far in advance, thinking that, well, it'll be over, you know, by the time it airs.
00:55And then when it airs, it's even more relevant than it was when we were shooting.
00:59So that's that, ooh, that angel does sprinkle stuff stuff that we do.
01:05It's really phenomenal.
01:07But, you know, we want to be as straight with our audiences as we can where other people may not talk about things.
01:12We're like, hey, let's talk about it because, you know, things affect all of us.
01:17For sure.
01:18And I know 22 seasons in, it's probably hard to pick a top moment or probably even top five, top ten.
01:24But can you think of maybe a special day on set this past season or maybe this upcoming season that you can tease?
01:30Gosh.
01:31Well, I know in the upcoming season when we get to the second episode, episode, that would be 2202.
01:37That's our 450th episode.
01:39Oh, my God.
01:41What is that?
01:43So that's really exciting.
01:44I think we should go big.
01:45I think there needs to be some fireworks or something going on.
01:48Go big or go home.
01:50What's it like also to be working with Ellen in a partial capacity these days?
01:54It never feels partial, like by the time we shoot.
01:58But I think that's the whole point is that we've established a ship, so to speak, to the point where we can have so many visitors and so many new babies that come in and play.
02:10But there's consistency there.
02:12There's consistency of teaching, consistency of that intern journey to resident, consistency of powers that be.
02:20And so then when Meredith gets a chance to also come on board, it's like, oh, okay, she's a North Star still to our interns, to our residents, just like Bailey is, just like Dr. Richard Weber is, North Stars.
02:34So it's about that consistency.
