00:04need to change your lifestyle or you're going to die um i had cholesterol issues i was on the

00:09cusp of type 2 diabetes heart problems um so i looked into all the the fads again i looked into

00:15the keto diet intermittent fasting i've tried them all uh slimming world uh weight watchers

00:20trying to keep track of the sins and understanding what's going on and what's pointed and what's

00:24that it's not how you do a diet how did this compare to the other ones foods and

00:29addiction to a fat person you're happy you eat you're sad you eat so the the injection takes

00:36away that craving i don't crave chocolate i don't crave crisps i know when i'm full a lot of people

00:42who use the scene using these drugs is like a cheat it's costing the nhs a lot of money is it a cheat

00:48yes it was from november to february i lost three stone only taking the injection and not eating

00:54um in february i joined the gym i now work out five days a week i completed couch to 5k and i go

01:02on 5k runs three times a week um so it was a cheat to begin with i absolutely agree but as for costing

01:08the taxpayers money maybe in the short term but you've said i don't get it from the taxpayers by

01:14the way i will say that i pay for it myself but i've saved your money on i'm not going to need type 2

01:18diabetes medicine i'm not going to need cholesterol medicine i'm not going to need any surgeries

01:23hopefully in future regarding weight issues even me kid like we'd have three takeaways a week and my

01:29daughter emma would have a bit of takeaway and it's changed her she started doing couch to 5k with

01:33us she sees daddy doing yoga she joins in with the yoga it's changing the kids as well so hopefully

01:39you'll see less obese adults but you'll start seeing less obese children as well so hopefully it will

01:44save the nhs money in the long run if people are struggling with with their weight okay what message

01:49would you have for them what would you want to tell them firstly speak to a doctor i consulted my

01:54doctor before going on it look into the side effects they are said my first week i had headaches and a

01:59bit of nausea that's gone i have no other side effects other than constipation uh but luckily

02:04giving me job enough of it comes out of my mouth on a daily basis so i don't need to worry too much

02:07um and i'd say give it a go it it genuinely has saved my life changed my life my wife's on it as

02:15well and she doesn't shout about it as much as me she's lost nearly six stone as well she's doing

02:20fantastic and we love each other a little bit we can hug each other now as well which is nice get

02:24our hands around and everything so yeah i'd say just look into it and give it a go if you are thinking
