00:00But yes, obviously we've got a big job to do on Thursday night, but, you know, I think this team's pretty relentless in striving for overcoming those sort of obstacles. So, yeah, we'll be ready to go.
00:14You've done it before. You've turned it around to game one loss last year. So how much belief can take you with the squad?
00:20It does for sure, but like at the same time, we're not last year's team. We can't rely on last year's result because the Blues are a different team as well.
00:27So this group's just focused on the task without looking backwards, I guess.
00:33The whole team didn't play the way that you wanted to play a game, so is that what gives you a bit of confidence that if you play to your level, you can change that result around?
00:41Yeah, definitely. It's on us. It's on every individual. We need to do what we can do well.
00:47And that's something that's been a big talking point. It's effort-based. It's not any fancy plays. It's not changing our game plan.
00:54It's just effort-based, putting in more effort and being prepared for what we're going to face.
00:58You know, those debutantes aren't debutantes anymore, so they've got a game under their belt, and I thought they played all extremely well.
01:04So they're more experienced, and we've got a job to do.
01:08When camp started, Tani spoke about the squad that had come in, and she did sort of single-experienced girls and expected herself and other girls in the spine to sort of step up again.
01:18Has she mentioned that to you guys, or you've got a bit of extra, not pressure, but a bit more responsibility?
01:23We, yeah, you know, we didn't perform, especially the senior girls, so it was on us to make sure we tidied that up.
01:30And we do have experience, so it's not okay to perform like that in a Queensland jersey, and we took that to heart.
01:37And I don't think we've actually gotten over that loss, so I think we'll use that fire going into Thursday.
01:43But it's something that you can't play a perfect game.
01:46So we all know we have mistakes and do that, but it's about what we can do for each other.
01:51So it's been really big on just encouraging each other, making sure they've got the confidence to go out and do the job.
01:56And that goes for the senior girls.
01:58You know, we can't just expect them to know what to do.
02:00We have to get around them also.
02:07We have to get around them.
