01:07The core offering is a seven session workshop where children are introduced
01:11to eight Indian and Western instruments.
01:16Guitar, keyboard, drums, tabla, doll, violin, sitar and flute.
01:22Each session features a live artist performing with an instrument,
01:26allowing children to see, hear and engage with music in real time.
01:32What sets Mazartse apart is its concert-like classroom format,
01:36where every class is a live music experience.
01:41Children learn about different instruments and genres,
01:45including Indian classical, folk, jazz, country and world music.
01:50There is also interactive movement, dancing and a hands-on experience with the instruments,
01:55making learning fun and deeply engaging.
01:58Mazartse was founded by Sonam Upadhyaya,
02:03a certified music educator, music therapist,
02:06VO artist and child entertainer with over 20 years of experience.
02:11She holds a master's degree in music innovation
02:13from the University of West Scotland
02:16and has training in music therapy.
02:18We do lots of different workshops where we introduce kids
02:22to different sorts of instruments.
02:24Every class we invite different artists, maestros
02:27who come to play the instrument live for the kids,
02:29where the children can see the artist perform live
02:33and then they can also try their hands on the instrument of the day.
02:36This way the children are able to develop an interest towards
02:39learning an instrument, figuring out which instrument
02:42they would really like to learn,
02:44because once they've seen all the variety of instruments,
02:47string instruments, percussions, keys, wind instruments,
02:50then they know better that what is that, you know,
02:53interests the child more.
02:54So they're able to choose the instruments
02:56and then, you know, we start individual training process also.
02:59But in between we also do other workshops
03:01like the Rhyme and Chime program
03:03where we introduce kids to concepts of music,
03:06like what is rhythm, what is pitch, what is tempo.
03:09In this program children gain beat confidence, you know,
03:12so it becomes very easy for them to later on learn different instruments
03:15and it's easy for us to teach also at a younger age.
03:19The program encourages parent-child participation,
03:22especially during the free dance segments,
03:25making it a shared bonding experience.
03:27The class is absolutely fabulous.
03:45I, you know, I'm trying to explore, you know, introduce him to music
03:50and it's very important for me that he develops, you know,
03:52a hobby or something that he can carry,
03:54a develop a passion for musical instruments
03:57and that is why I brought him here.
03:59And in fact, you know, I've been following Muzarsi for a while now

04:12and I'm coming all the way from Gurgaon.

04:20In addition to the main workshop,
04:22Muzarsi offers a fun-filled rhythm and rhyme program
04:26that uses live guitar, voice and rhythm games
04:29to teach concepts like tempo, pitch and beat confidence
04:33in a joyful, interactive format.
04:37But normally you put them to a music class
04:39and they get to experience just one instrument,
04:41like a piano or like a guitar, just a single one.
04:44So this was like a phase where he gets to be explored,
04:48get to explore different instruments
04:50and get to have a hands-on experience
04:53of that instrument as well.
04:55Parents consistently report visible growth
04:57in their children's confidence,
04:59musical understanding and joy of learning.
05:03So my daughter was only 18 months
05:05when I was brought her first class
05:07and she had started her play-school.
05:10Then she was born again.
05:11And then I repeated this session.
05:14So when I went back to school,
05:16my teacher's phone came and said,
05:18I have to meet you,
05:19what did you do in the kids?
05:22So I said,
05:23it was an experimental music class.
05:24I had to go through some friends.
05:26So I just went there and said,
05:28how much time did you do it every day?
05:29I said, it was only seven sessions.
05:31Over two weeks, two and a half weeks.
05:33So I said,
05:33something has come.
05:35So I said, what is it?
