Pulling from her deep gospel, soul and R&B roots in Kenya, Esther is bringing her unique musical background to Tokyo. Having already made her television debut in Japan, she is actively involved in the live music circuit. As the front woman for the duo Esther and Wataru and the band r101 session, her unique musical leanings add flare and fire to rousing performances.

is an experienced guitarist and musician whose career was nurtured in LA. He has supported recording and live shows for numerous artists with diverse musical styles, including ethnic music such as flamenco. He fuses his classical training with popular music influences to push the instrumentation into unprecedented territory while bringing the best out of Esther.
