00:00We're going to hear from the government shortly talking about their crackdown on net migration.
00:04Is this something that reform welcomes?
00:09Well, we simply don't believe what they're saying. I mean, both the Conservatives and
00:13the Labour governments have both failed utterly on the subject. It's no coincidence that both
00:17of those parties are bringing out their new proposals now in the wake of what was a fantastic
00:22set of election results for reform just a week and a half ago. They're both running scared.
00:26They've got every reason to be running scared because people have woken up to their failure.
00:30So they can talk about it all they like. But ultimately, we don't believe a word they say.
00:34The proof of the pudding will be in the eating. And we just don't think it's going to get served
00:37up on the plate. Alex, what sort of satisfaction of any do you get hearing Labour talk about
00:43what they're going to talk about today to to such a degree that they're going to talk about it today?
00:49Because basically everything from here on in is as a response or a countermeasure to what
00:56you guys have stirred up and created and how you've got people talking.
01:02Yeah, I mean, it's it shows very much that we are setting the agenda. We've only got five MPs at
01:08the moment. We know that if there was a general election tomorrow, we'd have an awful lot more.
01:11But with our five MPs and me as our one currently London Assembly member, we are absolutely making
01:16so much noise, punching well above our weight. And the proof shown by those local election results
01:22last week where people have now woken up to the failures of both the established parties.
01:26They're choosing to vote reform in their droves because they want something different. They want
01:29some change. They want some some politicians who actually believe what they say. Labour are
01:34responding to that. But as I said, I simply do not believe they will deliver because their party
01:40is wedded to open borders. You know, it was Tony Blair that started the huge rise in migration in the
01:45first place, continued by the Conservatives and continued by Labour. We've had eleven and a half
01:50thousand illegal crossings already this year. That's somewhere between 40 to 50% up on this
01:55point last year. Keir Starmer talks about smashing the gangs, but the only thing he's doing is smashing
01:59the records and smashing his own credibility. I simply do not believe him.
