00:00Tim McGraw Visits Children's Hospital
00:03After health struggle in bold career announcement, the Live Like You Were Dying crooner, 58, made fans emotional with his major news.
00:13Tim McGraw just posted a video of himself visiting a children's hospital after his own health struggle, leaving his fans in tears as a result.
00:21On May 9th, the country music crooner, 58, took to Instagram with a collage of clips from Monroe Carell, Jr., Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
00:33It takes grit to ride in the Music City Rodeo.
00:36We found that same determination in the patients at Evum Children during our visit to Seacrest Studios.
00:42McGraw then revealed,
00:44We are proud to have Nashville's first rodeo benefit Monroe Carell, Jr., Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
00:52In the video, McGraw and other country singers met with kids and parents at the hospital in honor of the Music City Rodeo benefiting the hospital.
01:01Fans were emotional over the selfless move, with one Instagram user commenting,
01:06Love, woo, Tim, and all the music and rodeo heroes lifting people up.
01:11That's what life is about.
01:14Another shared,
01:14What a beautiful moment for everyone, big, big talent.
01:19Someone else shared,
01:20No hyperbole, Tim may be one of the best humans ever.
01:24He's one of best to ever do it on the stage, in the recording studio, but it doesn't hold a candle to what he does away from his day job.
01:33Meanwhile, yet another fan declared,
01:35Tim is such a stand-up guy.
01:37Just days before his Children's Hospital video, the Live Like You Were Dying singer shared that he would headline the Music City Rodeo at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on May 31st.
01:48The career update came after McGraw was forced to cancel the rest of the dates for his standing room-only tour in June.
01:56In close consultation with his doctors, Tim McGraw will undergo necessary orthopedic surgery on both knees this month due to an injury sustained on tour, Sandia Resort and Casino shared on Instagram.
02:10Unfortunately, this will prevent him from performing any shows for the remainder of this year.
02:15Hopefully, McGraw is back to feeling 100% as he gears up for the concert later this month.
02:21We'll see you next time.
