"Pakistan uses Islam as facade for terrorism": Owaisi blasts Pakistan for ‘weaponising religion’

Hyderabad, May 10, 2025 (ANI): AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi launched a scathing attack on Pakistan, accusing it of using Islam as a cover to justify and promote terrorism against India.

00:00Due to Pakistani army shelling, 16 people have lost their lives.

00:05And in that 16, there were four small children whose ages were less than 10 years.

00:11An imam of a masjid, a maulana, was killed in that firing.

00:16A Sikh Gurdwara was damaged. Their complete houses were damaged.

00:21People were lying injured on the roads.

00:24Now, one additional deputy collector, a civil servant, was assassinated in Rajuri.

00:30You know, you are sending drones which are killing common people.

00:35They have damaged a hospital in Srinagar, a hospital in Jammu.

00:41This is what Pakistan has always been doing and this is what Pakistan will continue to do.

00:46Would you say that all religion in India are united and fighting the common enemy which is Pakistan?

00:54Definitely. This time around, the unity and unanimity I'm seeing in our country against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism is tremendous.

01:08And all the tricks and all the deviousness which Pakistan possesses, which you're trying to create differences,

01:17but it will not work this time around.

01:18The country is united in ensuring that we must put an end to this Pakistan-sponsored terrorism in India.

01:27Do you agree with the PM Modi's decision to eliminate terror at any cost?

01:33Well, it is a challenge for our country.

01:38The country is headed by a prime minister, but we have to save the country.

01:42We have to save the people living in our country.

01:44We have to save children, women, everyone, the farmers.

01:48So, it is high time that we put an end to this Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.

01:54Western world has been reluctant to call Dalgam attack as a terror attack.

02:04I mean, I'm perplexed, I'm shocked that how can you use words as militants or gunmen?

02:10These are people who came into India and they only shot people who were not Muslims.

02:17What would you call them if a terrorist comes and asks you what is your religion?

02:24Can you recite the Holy Kalima, which is an assertion of our faith?

02:29And they kill in the name of religion.

02:32So, they are terrorists only.

02:33How can you have two rules if something happens in their country?

02:38You call it a terror-sponsored or a terrorist attack.

02:44Sir, Pakistan has named its operation against India Hunayn Al-Masooz, a team with deep religious connections.

02:57See, they have used a Quranic verse of Surah Saf.

03:04That is, they have used verse number four.

03:08But they have conveniently forgotten what in that same chapter verse number two says.

03:15O believers, why do you say what you do not do?

03:17And then the words which they have used in Quran, that is that you should unify and stand as a concrete structure.

03:28Can Pakistan tell the world, why are they shooting at the Iranian checkpost?

03:33Why are they shooting at the Afghani checkpost?

03:38And why did they shoot the Bengalis in East Pakistan?

03:41Where was this word, Bunyan and Mursusan?

03:46Have they forgotten what they did in Bangladesh?

03:48Have they forgotten what they are doing to the Baluchis?

03:52Don't they remember Bunyan and Mursusan when you are shooting your own Baluchis over there?

03:58So it is really despicable that you use a verse of Quran of a particular chapter

04:07and you forget when Allah is saying how despicable it is a sight of Allah that you say what you do not do.

04:16This in itself is a clear proof of the hypocrisy which is practiced by the Pakistani army.
