John Fetterman Responds To NY Magazine Article In Which Staffers Raised Concerns

Speaking to CNN's Manu Raju, Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) responded to a New York Magazine article in which staffers raised concerns about him.

00:00And now it's just a disgruntled group of people, and there's only one there, so that's the same thing.

00:08There's no new news involved for this.

00:10The individual is a former chief of staff who has said that he's concerned about your well-being, which is why he went public.

00:17What do you say to someone like him who's concerned about, he says he's concerned about your personal well-being?

00:23It's like, no, he's had a weird grudge, and he has threatened to do this for quite a while.

00:30And if you're really concerned about someone, you could say, hey, let's sit down, can we talk?

00:35It's not like going to the media, and that's why somebody that has an agenda, it's like a hit piece.

00:41You've been public about your struggles with depression, and you had a prescription regimen of drugs to take in the aftermath of your time.

00:52Have you been keeping up with that, taking your medication?

00:56I want to, my doctors, my doctors are like, John is great, and I am on all of the plan that it's always been.

01:06And it's incredibly invasive.

01:08And why are people talking about anyone's personal medical things?

01:12It's that, you know, I think most people would agree that's really, really invasive.

01:16Can you explain what happened with those driving incidents?

01:18There was a reckless driving incident last year.

01:20And there was something in the concern in that article about you driving, getting behind the wheel.

01:24No, it's like we've, yeah, there's no news, there's no news on those things.

01:30It was an accident.

01:31You fully plan to serve your full term here in the Senate.

01:34Come on, of course, that's, obviously, obviously, everybody understands I was treated for depression.
