00:00Get back to our regularly scheduled program, The House of Fab.
00:03Three, two, one.
00:05On this episode of House of Fab, we have to come up with a new commercial.
00:10Oh, yes!
00:11Sounded like a porn video.
00:13Yes!
00:14It was a little over the top.
00:15What are the next steps?
00:16The next step is I have to go.
00:19Happy birthday!
00:21I don't know how I'm supposed to have a life with deadlines like this.
00:24You're going to do online dating?
00:26No!
00:27Okay, I think I have a prospect for you.
00:30Like a dating prospect?
00:33I've been forecasting what's going to be hot in the marketplace.
00:36Cannot give a big old girl like me a big old wedge.
00:39These people don't know what the hell they're doing,
00:40and they're not used to dealing with a G like me.
01:00I'm the senior vice president of marketing for JustFab.com.
01:11I'm the senior vice president of marketing for JustFab.com.
01:25Today, I'm meeting with the creative team to brainstorm concepts for the new JustFab commercial.
01:30We've been running our office commercial for about 18 months now.
01:33It's done phenomenal.
01:35It really resonated with our customers,
01:37so I really want to take a look at what we did right
01:39and just go through the commercial
01:41because we are going to be shooting a new commercial.
01:44So let's take a look.
01:46Wow!
01:47Now that is what I'm talking about.
01:49Oh, God!
01:52No, they didn't!
01:54How much?
01:55$39.95.
01:58All right.
01:59Our last commercial was a huge success,
02:01so we need to build upon a strength
02:03and create an even better product this time around.
02:06Why do we think it performed so well?
02:08The first time I actually saw it on television,
02:11I think I was in the kitchen or the bathroom,
02:13and I heard it, and I was like,
02:13and I ran out, and I saw it.
02:16I'm Lianca.
02:17Being a photoshoot producer,
02:18I tend to think visually,
02:20but hearing the audio of the girls moaning,
02:22it definitely grabbed my attention.
02:25How do we make this one different?
02:27And still on brand.
02:28And still on brand.
02:30I'm Allison.
02:32I'm the art director at JustFab.
02:34My favorite JustFab ads
02:36have a slightly edgy tone to them.
02:38What would be the most disruptive place
02:40to be kind of naughty?
02:41Oh, library.
02:42Library.
02:42I just work in a library.
02:43I really like the library idea
02:45because it is quiet.
02:46Like, there's always that nerd.
02:48Yeah, I think we should do a fun take
02:50on the office commercial.
02:52I'm Johnny.
02:53I'm the senior graphic designer.
02:55I love nerds, and I love naughty.
02:58I mean, I'm a naughty nerd,
03:00so it's a good thing I'm helping out
03:01with this commercial.
03:01Maybe two old women in a nursing home.
03:07As a librarian, and then who else would...
03:09Two girls.
03:10Two girls?
03:11For sure.
03:11Definitely two girls, okay.
03:12I like it.
03:14Love it.
03:14Our CEOs, Adam and Dawn,
03:16have invested a quarter of a million dollars
03:18on this commercial,
03:19so if it's not perfect,
03:20that's a huge problem for me.
03:22But we have a really strong team,
03:24so everything should be fine.
03:26Great.
03:26Yay!
03:27Go team!
03:28Are they gluten freezes?
03:33No, we were going to turn my parents in the middle.
03:36Cheers!
03:37Happy birthday!
03:38Happy birthday!
03:41I'm Leslie.
03:42I'm the director of merchandise for JustFab.
03:44Today's my birthday.
03:46My staff threw a little birthday party for me.
03:48They brought in champagne and mimosas,
03:50and it's been...
03:52Hi.
03:52Hi.
03:52I just wanted to say happy birthday.
03:55Yeah, hi.
03:55Yeah.
03:57Well, happy birthday to me.
04:01Hopefully you know how much you mean to all of us.
04:03Honey, don't make me cry at 10 a.m.
04:05We want to do something special and different for you,
04:07so hopefully you enjoy this.
04:09I'm Rose,
04:09and while Leslie might be my boss
04:11in the merchandising department,
04:12she's also my friend.
04:14Thanks, Rosie.
04:15I love all of you guys.
04:16You make coming to work fun,
04:17and normally coming to work on your birthday
04:19isn't actually the best thing,
04:21but, you know, we're super busy.
04:23I didn't want to take the day off
04:24because I actually knew I'd have fun coming in.
04:25You're welcome.
04:26I really enjoy my job.
04:28I love working here,
04:29but honestly,
04:30it's hard to balance my work and personal life.
04:32Happy birthday.
04:33Dude, we got to get back to work.
04:35Lori.
04:36Lori, everyone.
04:37No, I do too.
04:41The neon sorbets, as we're calling them.
04:43They were, but no.
04:45Hi, ladies.
04:47Hi.
04:48Hi.
04:49My boss, Petra, is nine months pregnant.
04:51She's still showing up every day
04:52and killing it at her job.
04:54She's a great example to all of us
04:55of a woman that's balancing a professional life
04:58with her personal life.
04:59I wanted to call this meeting
05:01to get our spring 2013 on the road.
05:05I know it seems a little bit early.
05:07Go out there,
05:08see what's in the marketplace,
05:09what's working,
05:10what's not working,
05:11what are the big trends that are in the marketplace,
05:13and then bring that back,
05:14put it in a presentation.
05:16Trend forecasting is all about predicting
05:18what's going to be hot in the upcoming season.
05:21To do this, we look at designer runways,
05:23what's happening in the marketplace,
05:25what has and hasn't worked for us in the past,
05:27and also just a little bit of your intuition.
05:29And I would like to see trends
05:30not only when it comes to color,
05:32which is a lot what we've talked about today,
05:34but also when it comes to silhouette
05:35and when it comes to material.
05:38Rose and I will need to search far and wide
05:40for inspiration that we can incorporate
05:41into the spring line.
05:42That I was told this morning
05:44that I'm actually going to be out
05:46a week earlier than I thought.
05:49And I would like to see your ideas
05:51literally within the next week or two.
05:55And I know that's not giving everybody
05:56as much time as we usually have,
05:58but I'm pretty sure you guys can pull it together.
06:00I want this Friday to be the big shopping day.
06:03Planned by the end of next week,
06:04we will have a promo plan standing of trends for 2013.
06:08Does that work for everybody?
06:09Yeah, I was just going to stop sleeping, so...
06:11I don't know how I'm supposed to have a life
06:14with deadlines like this,
06:15but it is the just fab way.
06:17So, it looks like we have a lot of spring planning to do.
06:22I know.
06:23What are you going to do tonight for my time?
06:25Um, I'm just going to go to dinner with a friend.
06:28A special friend?
06:30No, not that kind of friend.
06:31Yeah.
06:32Just a friend.
06:33With Petra having the baby
06:34and Rose bringing up dating and my personal life,
06:38it does make you think,
06:39like, am I giving too much of myself to work?
06:41Do I have that proper balance?
06:43Maybe if we had some people around here
06:45that I could date, but...
06:47We need to figure out, like, a plan
06:49to, like, get out mingling.
06:51I'll figure something.
06:52Oh, I'm nervous now.
07:01Johnny.
07:02Rosie.
07:03I need to talk to you.
07:04How about fun?
07:05I've been thinking.
07:07You know how...
07:07Hold on. Rose thinking.
07:09Shut up.
07:10So, you know how busy Leslie is and how...
07:14She's so busy.
07:14Yeah, but...
07:15She's going to be a corporate lesbian.
07:17You know what those are?
07:18No, what do you mean?
07:20Corporate lesbians are strong, powerful women
07:22who just are obsessed with work.
07:24They just work, work, work.
07:25Oh, my God.
07:25And people just think they're lesbians
07:26because they can't...
07:26We need to save her.
07:27I'm totally down.
07:28What's your idea?
07:28Okay, okay.
07:29What's your idea?
07:29So, I don't know, like,
07:30maybe setting her up or something?
07:32With who?
07:33I don't know.
07:34That's where I need your help.
07:36Most guys that I know
07:37would rather date me than Leslie,
07:39so we have to come up with a plan B.
07:40I probably think we should
07:42maybe do, like, an online profile for her.
07:45I don't think she'd go for it.
07:47Like, how else are we going to get her, like, out?
07:48Shut up, shut up, shut up.
07:50I don't know exactly what to do.
07:51What?
07:52We stage a fake photo shoot.
07:54We can do it for, like, a social media team.
07:57Jess have a Facebook page
07:58full of employee profiles.
08:00It's a perfect excuse to get Leslie in the studio.
08:02Shoot, okay, shoot.
08:03As long as we don't get caught,
08:04I think that we could pull it off.
08:12My name's Don.
08:14I'm the co-CEO of JustFab.
08:17Sandra and the creative team
08:18came up with a new commercial concept.
08:20Basically involves two girls in a library.
08:22They're getting really excited
08:24about JustFab shoes.
08:25I'm here today at the casting
08:27because we've invested $250,000
08:29in this commercial,
08:30and I'm here to make sure it gets done right.
08:32Well, who's first up on the deck?
08:34On the deck here.
08:39Making a good commercial,
08:40it's all about casting.
08:41Now we need our librarian and our nerd.
08:44So you can just kind of walk
08:46to where the corners meet?
08:48Okay.
08:51Perfect.
08:52Great?
08:53Yep.
08:55These women, these models are half my age,
08:56so I am looking like the old man out there.
08:58Although I feel 30,
08:59which is important to note that.
09:01Can you put that in there?
09:01You can actually step onto the white,
09:05onto the tee.
09:06Amazing.
09:07Okay, great.
09:07Perfect.
09:08Okay, we're good.
09:09Okay.
09:10Thank you very much.
09:11You did a great job.
09:12So now it's time to bring in the boys.
09:14Oh.
09:16Uh-oh.
09:17It's a big day.
09:21We're casting models for a commercial shoot,
09:24and luckily they asked my boyfriend
09:26to come in and audition for it.
09:28What's over here?
09:30I'm really, really nervous.
09:34And hopefully it does really well.
09:36No.
09:36Um, you can step onto the tee.
09:39You ready?
09:40Why don't we do a line and you respond?
09:43Okay.
09:43So, oh my God, I have like eight pairs of those,
09:46but I'm gonna get another one.
09:50What do you think, Don?
09:51I mean, he's adorable,
09:53but I think he's too young for this commercial.
09:56Who's next?
09:57You can step onto the tee.
09:59Okay.
09:59I don't know a lot of nerds
10:04that have bodies like that.
10:05So, walk a couple times.
10:08You look very nice.
10:11I like the shoes, the dress.
10:12Everything is going good.
10:17Okay.
10:19Seriously?
10:20What's going on?
10:22Guys are taking off their clothes.
10:23We're looking for a nerd.
10:24This is Julian.
10:28Whoa.
10:29Wow, that's...
10:32I'm really wondering
10:37what Lianca told the casting directors.
10:41All right, let's get the next batch in.
10:42All right.
10:43I need nerds.
10:45And then we'll try these glasses somehow.
10:47He's not too young.
10:49He's not too pretty.
10:50And I bet he couldn't do a jump kick to save his life.
10:53Yep.
10:54With him on board,
10:55our commercial is officially cast.
10:57I think you're gonna have the part,
10:58I'm pretty sure.
10:59You guys are all set here.
11:06So, I really want to take some photos for you
11:09for the Get to Know Leslie series on Facebook.
11:12Right.
11:13Kind of weird that you're taking it.
11:14You have a lot of good hands on this.
11:17In order to get photos for Leslie's online dating profile,
11:21me and Rose tricked Leslie into going to the studio
11:24for what she thinks is a Facebook online campaign.
11:27All right.
11:27Let's start.
11:28Click.
11:28I think you should be in the center.
11:29Give me fierce.
11:30Do like...
11:31It's still cute here.
11:33No!
11:34Okay, here.
11:34All right.
11:35That's cute.
11:36Oh, my God.
11:37This is so cute.
11:41Leslie, you're looking so sexy.
11:43That's good.
11:43That's good.
11:44I like that.
11:44I like that.
11:44Look at me.
11:45Oh, my God.
11:45Don't leave it.
11:46Oh.
11:46Look at the eyes.
11:47Why do I have to look sexy?
11:49Rose, Johnny, seriously, what is going on here?
11:51Having a black outline around you would be so hot.
11:56Can I show you how...
11:57What are you going to show me?
11:58You're creeping me out.
12:04What are you doing?
12:05More bad.
12:06That'd be cute.
12:07Perfect.
12:08You can help me.
12:10I'm supposed to be shooting for the social media
12:12getting to know you feature,
12:14where they feature all the different, like,
12:16JustFab employees and tell about them.
12:18It is an initiative we're doing get to know us here at JustFab.
12:21But it's not next week.
12:24This campaign is not for months.
12:27We don't have time for this.
12:28We're not shooting this.
12:29No, it's months from now.
12:30So what are we doing in this?
12:31Johnny?
12:33Johnny, you need to...
12:34Why are we shooting?
12:37Coming up on House of Bab.
12:39All right, action.
12:41Oh, yes!
12:42Oh, yes!
12:43What direction did I give her?
12:44Now she sounds like a porn actress.
12:46Yes!
12:49Johnny, it doesn't bring us A-game.
12:50Get out.
12:51So these are all of our spring trends.
12:53Okay, you either help us, or you get out.
12:56I can't.
12:57Seriously.
13:03I'm supposed to be shooting for the social media
13:05getting to know you feature.
13:07So Rose and I sort of tricked Leslie into taking profile pics
13:10for our online dating site.
13:12Things were going great until Kimora came in
13:15and basically blew our cover.
13:17This campaign is not for months.
13:19So what are we doing then?
13:20Months from now?
13:21Johnny, you need to spill the beans.
13:22Why are we shooting?
13:23Leslie, the truth is...
13:26these photos weren't for Facebook.
13:28They're actually for an online dating profile
13:31that me and Rose were gonna make for you.
13:34You're gonna do online dating?
13:36No!
13:37Just wait.
13:38Just let's hold on.
13:39I can't believe this.
13:40I mean, that's slow.
13:41Even for Johnny.
13:42I know Leslie's so busy.
13:44I really want her to be happy.
13:45I am the relationship whisperer.
13:48Okay.
13:49That's me.
13:50All right?
13:51If you need it, come and get it.
13:52Had some Mr. Rights and some Mr. Wrongs
13:55and some rights have gone wrong.
13:58Some wrongs have gone right and Mr. Right now.
14:02Anyway, we're not gonna go there.
14:05Leslie, what are you looking for?
14:07Um, like six feet and over.
14:10Oh.
14:11Dark hair, dark eyes.
14:13Oh.
14:14Dark skin?
14:15Sometimes.
14:16Oh.
14:17Well, well, well.
14:18I have some great guys in mind.
14:20A few.
14:21That you might like.
14:23So now my boss is setting me up on a date,
14:26which is really awkward and not at all what I saw coming.
14:29Let me see what I can do.
14:30Okay.
14:32I expect nothing less from you, which isn't much.
14:35I gotta go.
14:36So, we'll talk later.
14:38Leslie never really holds grudges,
14:40and hopefully Camora will be able to set her up on a date,
14:43and it'll all be worth it in the end.
14:45No, it's fine.
14:46She's fine.
14:50Then we're gonna do something like this for the library.
14:53Okay.
14:54Awesome.
14:55Let's get you started.
14:56I'm Angela.
14:57In-house style is a just fab.
14:59Today, Ally and I are selecting wardrobe for the library commercial.
15:04Good on the shoes.
15:05I really like the shoes.
15:06I really, really, really want to make it pop.
15:08You look really cute.
15:09Thanks.
15:10For this fitting, we have our nerd, our librarian, and one of our college girls.
15:15Can I see these glasses on you?
15:17Yes.
15:18Oh, yeah.
15:19Sexy.
15:20Sexy librarian.
15:21Do you approve?
15:22One of the benefits of having an in-house studio
15:24is that we can see how a particular look will read on camera
15:27under professional lighting.
15:31You look so pretty.
15:32All right.
15:35Okay.
15:36Angela's fantastic.
15:37She has serious credentials.
15:38But at the end of the day, I need to make the final call on wardrobe.
15:41My look.
15:42My vision.
15:43Do you have an option that's less, um, less cute.
15:46Classic.
15:47Yeah.
15:48Okay, sexy.
15:49Let's go.
15:50What?
15:51I mean, that slit's ridiculous.
15:52What is this?
15:53Your boobs are ridiculous in this.
15:56Sexy librarian.
15:57Great.
15:58Yay.
15:59Yeah.
16:00This is, it's, it's, it's it.
16:02It's really good.
16:03Okay, perfect.
16:04Great.
16:05Rose and I are putting together mood boards right now with
16:16things we've found in the marketplaces.
16:18Even paintings to express what we think will be on trend for next season.
16:22That won't work.
16:25Mood boards are presentations that express the styles, patterns,
16:29textures, colors, that are giving the hot new trends for the next season.
16:35Okay, so should we maybe start detailing out all the basic ideas that we have, and then
16:43we can start seeing which ones we want to go after, how we think it's going to sort
16:46out.
16:47Rose and I are meeting with the shoe team to make sure that we're all on the same page
16:50for what trends will be really prominent next season.
16:52Look at all these shades of neon peach.
16:54Hello.
16:55There we go.
16:56Here's the color.
16:57I like peach.
16:58I love peach.
16:59I feel like I'm at a weird farmer's market right now.
17:03Some of the major trends that I want to make sure we hit for bags, I'm still really
17:08believing in the lighter pastel colors for sure.
17:11Super cute.
17:12So I think, like, the really literal pastel flowers that happened last season just didn't
17:17translate.
17:18So I think if we want to do pastel florals, we have to be really careful about how we
17:21do it.
17:22So we want to stick to coral and then no mint.
17:24Is that where we're going?
17:25And we want to do it in metallics with pops of color, so it doesn't necessarily...
17:28Maybe just do a boat shoe story.
17:30Yeah.
17:31Like, using the navy and some of that nautical stuff makes sense.
17:34A lot of trend forecasting involves looking at what's hot on the runways and interpreting
17:38it for the mass market.
17:40So we're saying boat shoes Feb, right, and then March we want to do pearlescent and maybe
17:44the new florals as sort of like the Easter spring collection.
17:49Another huge part is looking at what was great last season, what were top sellers, and tweaking
17:54it to make it relevant for this upcoming season.
17:56It's more about just putting some sort of collection together that's seasonally appropriate that
18:01our girls combine into.
18:02All right.
18:03So let's go.
18:04Is the librarian here yet?
18:15Yes.
18:16I want to see her outfit.
18:18Okay.
18:19Today's a big commercial shoot.
18:20I heard, like, the slip's pretty high, so I want to take a look at that before we send
18:24her out.
18:25It has to be perfect.
18:26Yeah.
18:27So how far up does the slip go?
18:28Really high.
18:29Yeah.
18:30I have some images right here that we can look at.
18:33Yeah.
18:34Really high.
18:35Wow.
18:36Okay.
18:37So my concern is that this is going to look more like Angelina Jolie on the red carpet than
18:41librarian?
18:42Totally.
18:43Um...
18:44Do we have other options?
18:45Yes.
18:46I have a ton of other black skirts.
18:47So what did you think about the skirt?
18:49Did you see the picture?
18:50It just...
18:51No, no, no.
18:52I agree.
18:53It's like five minutes away.
18:54Okay.
18:55Okay.
18:56Okay.
18:57Perfect.
18:58Okay.
18:59It's time.
19:00Turn around.
19:01Today, time is money.
19:02Literally.
19:03We can't afford to go five minutes over.
19:05Every minute counts.
19:06Take one.
19:07Fast, babe.
19:08Go.
19:09Finally, it's the day of the commercial, and I have to make sure everything is on brand
19:18and looking awesome.
19:20She looks flat to me.
19:22I don't know if it's eyes or cheeks or something, but she looks flat.
19:24I think we might want to add a little pink to the lip, too.
19:29You can see her shoe, and it's not popping to me.
19:31The leopard isn't, so should I maybe change it to something a little bit more poppy?
19:35Yeah, but we're half an hour behind.
19:37I want to change.
19:38When you get on set, and they're already behind, and production hasn't even started yet,
19:43you know someone hasn't done their job.
19:44All right.
19:45Settle, please.
19:46Here we go.
19:47Let's roll.
19:48And action.
19:49What are you trying to get me into?
19:52I couldn't.
19:53Yes, you could.
19:54Oh, yes.
19:55Oh, my God.
19:56Yes.
19:57I was cringing as they were moaning.
19:59If you didn't know what we were doing, it sounded like we might have been creating a porn video.
20:12What direction did I give her?
20:13Now she sounds like a porn actress.
20:14Oh, yes, yes, yes.
20:16Coming up on House of Fat, okay, I think I have a prospect for you.
20:22Like a dating prospect?
20:23How are you?
20:24Good to meet you.
20:25You, too.
20:26I'm scared.
20:27We're just going to wing it.
20:28The entire team was really hard on selecting the hottest trends for next year.
20:33A lot of the brighter colors look like some of the brighter colors we had last summer.
20:39Oh, my God.
20:44Oh, God.
20:49Oh, yes.
20:51I didn't know this was that kind of commercial.
20:54I know.
20:55It's getting a little crazy.
20:56It's commercial day.
20:57The idea is to have two college girls getting really excited as they check out the Just Have
21:02website on their laptop.
21:06The commercial needs to be sexy and edgy, but right now, this moaning has gone way too
21:12far.
21:13Do you mind going out and coaching her?
21:14I don't think she's getting the right direction.
21:16On it.
21:17Thanks, Allison.
21:18I never thought I'd be telling girls how to moan.
21:22Sometimes a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do.
21:25So you guys are doing a beautiful job.
21:29You're thinking, I'm not that girl.
21:32This is a lot of shoe.
21:34Can I be that daring?
21:36It's imperative that we get everything in this commercial right.
21:39But that takes time.
21:40And I hope everyone understands that.
21:42Are we still behind by half an hour?
21:43Yeah.
21:44We'll definitely be able to get the two endings.
21:46The two endings?
21:47I mean...
21:48When we are behind, Sandra is the most dressed because behind means overtime.
21:54And overtime is several thousand dollars per hour.
21:57Okay.
21:58I really want to clean up that shoe.
22:02Let me see if I can find her.
22:04It's like sticky, so I feel like we can rub it out.
22:07Can you please get the other pair of the pink ones?
22:10I think they're either in the trailer, Vanessa has it, whatever it may be.
22:20Hmm.
22:21Yeah.
22:24Okay.
22:26Guys, hold the chatter.
22:27Ready?
22:28And...
22:29Action.
22:30What are you getting me into?
22:35Be quiet.
22:38Oh, yes.
22:39And it's so...
22:42That was good.
22:43The no overtime thing.
22:44It's the...
22:46Sublim...
22:47Oh, we wrapped.
22:48Woo-hoo!
22:51Woo-hoo!
22:533.30!
22:54Yay!
22:57No overtime!
23:06Hi, honey!
23:07True.
23:08I think I have a prospect for you.
23:10Like a dating prospect?
23:11Yes.
23:12Okay.
23:13Do you want to see?
23:14Well, yeah.
23:15Okay.
23:18Come on, is this awkward?
23:19This is awkward.
23:20No.
23:21Well, I got a good person.
23:22You know me.
23:23I got good people.
23:24I know this guy, Charlie, from back in New York.
23:27He's 34, a web developer, easy on the eyes, and an all-around nice guy.
23:32Hmm.
23:33Yeah.
23:34I think I could work with that.
23:35All work and no play makes for a dull girl.
23:39And I need you to remember the Kimora rules of dating.
23:43Don't run all the bases, okay?
23:45They can run wherever they want.
23:46But you, just go to the first base.
23:47I'm like the umpire of dating.
23:50I'm going to make the call.
23:52Yeah.
23:53I trust you.
23:54So, if you think they were a good match, I'll go on the date.
23:57What am I supposed to say?
23:58No?
23:59I mean, she is my boss.
24:00It would be really awesome to meet someone that would, you know, give me a reason to
24:03step away and not spend such long hours here.
24:06You know I love my job, but girl needs a life.
24:09That's right.
24:10It's all about juggling.
24:11You know, throwing all your balls in the air and juggling.
24:16I'll call him, he'll call you, and you let me know how it goes.
24:19Okay.
24:20Remember your rules.
24:21Kimora's rules.
24:22Oh, I got those rules.
24:23Call me if you need any help.
24:24I have faith in you.
24:26Hi.
24:27Hi.
24:28Hi.
24:29Spend hours in here.
24:30Now that we are clear about what we think the big trends for spring will be, Rose and
24:43I are hitting up the fabric store to finish off our new board to get some swatches and
24:48little extra pieces for the big presentation.
24:51Oh, look at this, Rose.
24:53This morning, we found out that my boss Petra went into labor.
24:57I just really want her to enjoy her time with her baby and be a mom and not stress out
25:01about us.
25:02So, as if preparing this presentation wasn't stress enough, now we have to present a Kimora.
25:08This is pretty.
25:09Eh, I think we'll find something better.
25:11Oh, God.
25:12It's too small.
25:13That's cute.
25:14Where have I seen this?
25:15Your grandma's curtains?
25:16No, actually.
25:18A fabric store is not the place that you'll find the next big trend, but it is a place where
25:22you can find a concrete example of what you're trying to express.
25:25Orangey color fading into the yellow and this sort of green and bright pink.
25:29I think that's kind of the direction the brights are going for next year.
25:33This will help Kimora really understand what we are thinking.
25:36Kimora is visual.
25:37She's used to mood boards and fashion and color and swatches and she needs to feel it.
25:43This one's my favorite.
25:44It's like a non-print.
25:45It'd be cute on a shoe.
25:46I like this.
25:47Oh, my God.
25:48What if I made a skirt?
25:49I can't look at that.
25:50Look at these.
25:51I know, they're a little dangerous.
25:52They're like my shorts.
25:53I totally want to do closures with this.
25:54So cute.
25:55Love this.
25:56Love those.
25:57This was a really successful shopping trip.
25:58We found some great things to represent the trends that we believe in and to add to the mood board.
26:12I think we had a lot of success.
26:13I know.
26:14We did.
26:15I just hope that Kimora feels the same way when we present to her.
26:23So I think our board looks really good.
26:25It looks amazing.
26:26Happy with the way that the pictures all laid out, the colors.
26:30I think we've picked some really good trends.
26:32So we're presenting the spring trends to Kimora tomorrow and we have to nail it.
26:36Oh, my God.
26:37You totally match.
26:38I've never seen.
26:39Whoa.
26:40This is me.
26:41This is me.
26:42You're me.
26:43I'm on the board.
26:44I made it.
26:45I made it on your board.
26:46You guys are so thoughtful.
26:48I'm still a little annoyed with Johnny playing that trick on me, but he can make it up to
26:51me by being his creative self and helping us come up with inspiration.
26:56I'm a starvation station.
26:57All right, so.
26:58What are you guys doing?
26:59Okay, you either help us or you get out, but I think you can help us.
27:02Okay.
27:03But if he's a distraction and doesn't bring his A-game, get out.
27:06So these are all of our spring trends.
27:09Shoes and handbags and jewelry and a little bit even in denim.
27:13Fun.
27:14Yeah.
27:15So we really want to come up with some fun names for each of these trends.
27:20These marshmallows are so...
27:21All right.
27:22Because we also want to do some crock, right?
27:24All right.
27:25Because you've not, like, deep throat that one.
27:27What if we called it, like, reptile?
27:29Wedges.
27:30Obviously, wedges are such a huge driver of business in spring and summer.
27:33But I think just calling it wedges is kind of boring.
27:35Yeah.
27:36I totally agree.
27:37How do we call it wedgies?
27:38Maybe bringing Johnny into this meeting wasn't such a good idea.
27:42Okay.
27:43What else?
27:44The rose thing.
27:45Bloody rose.
27:46Shut up.
27:47I left half in here.
27:50Okay, I found it.
27:52No.
27:53Oh, did you eat it?
27:54No, that's fine.
27:55I need to go.
27:57Get your fabulous smell.
28:00I can't.
28:01Seriously.
28:07Oh, yeah, I've had this for a very long time.
28:08I just don't like these shoes.
28:09That's, like, my favorite.
28:10Oh, really?
28:11A little bit.
28:12Yeah.
28:16Leslie, are you ready for your date tonight?
28:19I don't know.
28:20I have so much to do.
28:22We have to prepare for that presentation.
28:24Like, we're so far behind with everything else going on.
28:27I don't even know if I can go.
28:28You have to go.
28:29I'm seriously considering canceling.
28:31No, you can't cancel.
28:32I can't.
28:33We can't not be prepared for this presentation for Kimora.
28:36We'll make it work.
28:37Is it something that I could do, maybe?
28:40I'm a little annoyed because I've been trying to help Leslie get her groove back.
28:44Because she is all work and no play.
28:46And now she's trying to cancel her date tonight because of work.
28:49I think it'll be nice for you to get out of the office and have some fun.
28:52So if we can help out, why not?
28:54Who knows?
28:55This could be, like, the one.
28:57I wouldn't get so far ahead of yourselves.
28:59I'm happy to jump into whatever needs to happen, Leslie.
29:03You're killing me.
29:04It's as if I've never been on a date in my life, you two.
29:07I could just imagine if I don't go Kimora calling and yelling at me.
29:10So that's not good either.
29:11So what do you know about this guy?
29:13Is he cute?
29:14Um, decent picture.
29:16We'll see in real life.
29:17You know, I don't know that much about him.
29:19You're kind of leaving it up to her.
29:21Yeah.
29:22I'm sure she'll find someone who's a good match for you.
29:25Let's hope.
29:27Hopefully.
29:28There's never going to be a perfect time to go on a date.
29:31So I'm going to take a risk and let Rose finish the presentation.
29:34And I'm going to take another risk and go on this date.
29:36All right.
29:37Well, I will give you guys a full report tomorrow.
29:40Can't wait.
29:41Hi.
29:42I feel like kicking me out the door right now.
29:44We're like out.
29:45Get out.
29:52Charlie.
29:53Hey.
29:54Leslie?
29:55Hi.
29:56How are you?
29:57Good to meet you.
29:58Good to meet you.
29:59First dates are always nerve-wracking, especially blind dates.
30:02But I'm going to give it a chance and hope for the best.
30:06Hello.
30:07This is fun and funny.
30:09Wow.
30:10I've only been on one other blind date, so it's definitely different for me.
30:14Kamara said great things about me.
30:16Yeah.
30:17So how do you know her?
30:18Fantastic.
30:19Oh, thank you.
30:20I know her through New York.
30:21I met a couple times through business.
30:23I've just always admired her.
30:24She's been fantastic.
30:25She told me that.
30:26Did you say that?
30:27I'm just kidding.
30:29Charlie looked like his picture and he was really nervous.
30:33So it was reassuring to know that we were both kind of in the same boat.
30:37Mm-hmm.
30:39How'd that look so good?
30:40Did you get some fresh brown pepper?
30:41Uh, that'd be great.
30:43Quora was saying that you're a pescaterian?
30:46So I don't eat, like, chicken or pork or beef.
30:50What about sushi, though?
30:52Oh, I love sushi.
30:53Oh, you do?
30:54Okay.
30:55A typical first date is all about getting to know someone.
30:57And often it can feel like a game of 20 questions.
31:00So I say let the games begin.
31:02Do you live out on the west side or are you in Hollywood?
31:04I live in West Hollywood.
31:05Where are you?
31:06I'm in North Hollywood.
31:07What do you do?
31:08Kind of a web development company where we do websites.
31:11Did you grow up surfing?
31:12Twelve years old is the first time.
31:14Nice.
31:15Did you play sports in high school?
31:17I did.
31:18I played soccer.
31:20I also played tennis.
31:21Well, what's your sign, first of all?
31:23Cancer.
31:24What's your sign?
31:25I'm Taurus.
31:26I did see a psychic once.
31:27She just...
31:28How did that go?
31:29She told me I was miserable because I didn't play enough sports.
31:32And first of all, I was like, I'm not miserable.
31:34I was just driving by.
31:36I feel like we actually had an opportunity to get past all those typical first date questions.
31:41Well, cheers.
31:42Cheers.
31:43Good to meet you.
31:44You too.
31:45And really get to know each other.
31:47You look so young and amazing.
31:49Oh, thanks.
31:50Thanks.
31:51You're sweet.
31:54I'm actually really surprised.
31:56Kimora did a good job, I think.
31:59I think she did a great job.
32:01I think we have a lot in common.
32:09It was really nice spending a night just focusing on something other than work.
32:13And I will definitely have to remember to thank Kimora when I see her.
32:16Did you feel good afterwards?
32:18Yeah, it was good.
32:24Hi, Don.
32:25Hi, how are you?
32:26Hi.
32:27Awesome.
32:28You guys want me.
32:30Okay, it's the moment of truth.
32:32We're about to show Adam and Don the new commercial.
32:35They're about to see where a lot of our time and a lot of their money went.
32:39They're going to love it.
32:40Okay.
32:41Okay.
32:42I couldn't.
32:43Yes, you could.
32:48I couldn't.
32:51Are you kidding?
32:54Oh, yes.
32:55It's so.
32:56Shh.
32:58Oh, my God.
33:00Yes.
33:01It's so.
33:03Quiet.
33:05Ready to give in to your shoe fantasy?
33:07Fill your wildest desires at JustFab.com.
33:09Only $39.95 at JustFab.com.
33:10Um.
33:19Compared to the last show that we did, this one seems like there's a little too much oohing on
33:26thing like for me.
33:27It was, it was a little over the top, but this is like at a whole kind of another level to
33:33me.
33:34Yeah, I know you don't want to shoot the same thing, but it always comes off.
33:36Yeah.
33:37Kind of felt a little cheesy.
33:38Oh, we're in trouble.
33:39This is supposed to be a funny commercial and literally no one, not even anyone on the video
33:49team left.
33:50I don't think it's a moaning to think it's really all about having a strong ending that's
33:54going to get the laugh.
33:55I feel like you're not getting that.
34:03Adam and Dawn really trusted me with this project and at this point I'm not convinced
34:08that we'll have anything to air.
34:10I'm going to be blunt.
34:11We spent a lot of money filming this commercial and I'm not happy.
34:14Sandra's going to have to fix it.
34:16What are the next steps for the library commercial?
34:18Because it sounds like that one definitely needs work.
34:25Coming up on House of Fat, today's the day where we finally present to Kimora.
34:31Very nervous.
34:32I'm scared.
34:33You call that a neon?
34:34Neon peach.
34:35I don't know.
34:36Neon peach.
34:37The fill your wildest desires at JustBab.com.
34:47Only $39.95 at JustBab.com.
34:50Today we screened our commercial for our CEOs Adam and Dawn and their reaction was not what
34:56we were hoping for.
34:57It was a little over the top.
34:59What are the next steps for the library commercial?
35:01Because it sounds like that one definitely needs work.
35:06Adam and Dawn hated it.
35:08I seriously can't imagine things going worse.
35:10Pull it off well.
35:11Kind of.
35:12I need to go visit the bar.
35:14I need a drink.
35:15After a meeting like that, it's nice having a bar in the office.
35:19If you've ever been in that meeting, you would need a drink.
35:22Hi.
35:23Okay, what happened?
35:24Was it bad?
35:25Not the best meeting.
35:26What happened?
35:27I can't even talk.
35:28I'm so worked up.
35:29It was so painful.
35:31Crickets.
35:32Like no laughing.
35:33No laughing.
35:34No.
35:35It not only wasn't funny, it was terrible.
35:38Adam's just like glaring at me.
35:41So what did Dawn say?
35:42Dawn just straight up said that it's not funny.
35:44You're right.
35:45I need to get this commercial fix ASAP.
35:47Yay.
35:48It's the only thing I've done right today.
35:52Oh no.
35:54So awkward.
35:55Very nervous.
35:56Nervous?
35:57We'll be fine.
35:58We're just going to wing it and we're going to make it really quick.
36:14Today's the day where we finally present the spring presentation to Kimora.
36:19I'm scared.
36:20Honestly, everyone on the merchandise team is a little stressed out.
36:24Yes.
36:25Yes.
36:26Hi.
36:27How are you?
36:28Hi.
36:29Hold up.
36:30I practiced that for you.
36:32The entire team worked really hard on selecting the hottest, most saleable, and exciting trends
36:37for next year.
36:38So, we wanted to bring you here today to go through our plan for spring.
36:45Starting in February, we definitely see indigo and violet as colors that can be adding some,
36:50you know, interest to the collections, but it's a good transitional color.
36:54What about metallics for spring?
36:56Are you sure about the nautical?
36:58I didn't get this far by not being precise.
37:01A lot of the brighter colors look like some of the brighter colors we had last summer.
37:06Like a heat-seeking missile, that's what we say.
37:09So far, I have no idea if this is going well.
37:13The way we think neon is going is kind of in these tones, so it's a little more like the peachy,
37:18the shades, it's not the true neons we saw this year.
37:21And then clear components, having some sort of clear closures, like the chunky chain strap
37:28that might be see-through or tortoise or something like that, and we definitely want to recognize
37:32that trend as well.
37:34Okay, well, we can move on.
37:36Who's going to present to me next?
37:37Dagmar is now going to walk you through shoes, and then Rose is going to walk you through handbags.
37:41We're looking at some things like this, where we have some really neutral styles.
37:45So, what we want to do is we want to give her some options for something that's a little bit lower of a heel.
37:50I will never apologize for voicing my opinion, especially when it comes to something that has just
37:56Fab's name on it, and my name, for that matter.
37:58She has heel options.
37:59You have to be careful with the wedgie.
38:00You cannot give a big old girl like me a big old wedge with the wrong pitch,
38:04and you look like you have a big boat foot.
38:06These people don't know what the hell they doing, and they're not used to dealing with a G like me.
38:11We feel really strongly about this neon peach.
38:14You call that a neon?
38:15Neon peach.
38:17I don't know.
38:20Neon peach.
38:22I'm nervous.
38:24I hope that Rose and our bags do better.
38:27Rose?
38:28Yes.
38:29I'm going to talk to you about bags.
38:30I'm going to talk to you about bags.
38:31I hope I have everything Camora's expecting.
38:33We recently developed this bag, and I think it's so amazing.
38:39We added in this, like, chunky hardware detail, which I think is a great update.
38:44So, I'm really excited to bring this to our girl.
38:47It's over here.
38:49Oh, that's great.
38:52Navy blue and black.
38:54I like all the hardware.
38:55I think that makes it kind of, um, fun and fresh.
38:58Yeah, definitely.
38:59Like a fresh take on a, on a plastic silhouette.
39:01Like a classic shape, yeah.
39:02Now this bag has just fab written all over it.
39:06It's classic.
39:07It's chic.
39:08I'm happy to be giving that to the girls.
39:10That's a winner.
39:11This one I brought because it's an example of the bright color with the neutral, like, twist.
39:16Oh.
39:17Oh, wow.
39:18This is chic for days.
39:19I love this.
39:20I feel like Wonder Woman.
39:21Really cute.
39:22Who would have known that you had something in there?
39:24So cute.
39:25It looks good with what you wear.
39:26Oh, I like that.
39:27Okay.
39:28I like the fact that here we have a lot of different girls, so we have, like, sexy, edgy, conservative.
39:33Oh, it's good.
39:34Did a great job.
39:35I think we should do this all the time.
39:37Yeah, I don't think so.
39:40Maura, I wanted to tell you about my date.
39:45It was good.
39:46He was really nice and, like, really interesting.
39:49We had really good conversation.
39:50Oh, that's good.
39:51Yeah.
39:52You know, it's really important just to get out a little bit.
39:54You work so hard.
39:55You do so much.
39:56A little work and play balance.
39:58There's nothing wrong with that.
39:59You don't have to get married tomorrow.
40:00Do you think you want to marry him?
40:01Do you want me to hook you up on another one?
40:05Why not?
40:06Keep him coming.
40:07I'm just kidding.
40:08I'm going to see what I can do.
40:09I'm going to think about that.
40:11Looks like my plan worked to perfection.
40:14Leslie is happy, and my spring trends are on point.
40:18I'm going to work a little play.
40:20Keep those stilettos up just in a minute.
40:22Okay, come on.
40:23See you later.
40:24Bye, Leslie.
40:26Coming up on House of Fats.
40:27You guys know we got a quarter of a million bucks invested in this thing.
40:30I really hope we got it right.
40:32Oh, yes, you could.
40:34So what do you guys think?
40:51I don't like it though.
40:52It's slowing down a bit.
40:53I feel great about this edit.
40:55I think it looks fantastic.
40:56I think it's drastically improved.
40:58Yeah.
40:59You made me laugh.
41:00That's what's important.
41:01I'm still nervous.
41:02Yeah.
41:03Some of the problems that Adam and Don had with the commercial were that the money was
41:08too over the top.
41:09It came across a little fake.
41:11It wasn't as funny as it could be, and there just wasn't enough product.
41:15Oh, yeah.
41:16Hi.
41:17How you guys doing?
41:18Good.
41:19Don't have a ton of time.
41:20If Adam and Don don't like this version, we're out of options.
41:24You guys know we got a quarter of a million bucks invested in this thing.
41:28I really hope we got it right.
41:30Again, we don't have a lot of time, so let's just, can we just jump in?
41:33I do this.
41:34I can't.
41:35I can't.
41:36I can't.
41:37I can't.
41:38Oh, yes you can.
41:39Shh.
41:40Some of the small changes we made were we found footage where the money was not as over
41:45the top.
41:46Are you kidding?
41:47Oh, just do it.
41:48I did.
41:49Maybe be quiet.
41:51Oh.
41:52This is justfab.com.
41:53We added our adorable nerd to end the commercial and make it a little funnier.
41:58Shoes.
41:59Shoes.
42:00Shoes.
42:01And we added more fabulous product.
42:05So what do you guys think?
42:10I'm laughing inside.
42:14Adam, what do you think?
42:15I like it.
42:16Aw, thanks, Adam.
42:17I think it was good.
42:18You never know until you test these things, but I think we've got a winner here.
42:21So I know you guys took a chance and it was a little touch and go, but I think now it
42:24looks great.
42:25I think you guys did an amazing job.
42:27I think it's on point with the brand.
42:29I'll admit it.
42:30It was pretty funny.
42:31All the problems I saw at the commercial are now fixed.
42:34We're going to sell a lot of shoes to a lot of women, a lot of happy customers, and
42:37it's money well spent.
42:38Yeah, we're excited to get up and testing, and I really expect to see a huge win.
42:43Awesome.
42:44Thanks, Chris.
42:46All right.
42:47Yeah, it went fantastic.
42:48It felt good about it.
42:49I feel really great about it.
42:50I am happy.
42:51So how quickly can we get it up?
42:53Um, we can do the...
42:54Sorry.
42:55Sorry.
42:56.
42:58.
42:59.
43:00.
43:01.
